1, 1972 - September 2, 2007
Amy Beth Foster, 34, of Tulsa, passed away on September 2, 2007. She
was born on November 1, 1972 in Stillwater, OK., to parents Charles F.
(Rick) Foster and Vicki Foster. She grew up in Cushing, Ok. and
graduated from Cushing High School in 1990. Amy and her brother,
Charles, grew up in a country, farm environment participating in 4-H
during their younger years. They both had alot of good times on the farm
and many stories to tell. She took dance lessons from age 3 through
college. Dance was her love. She was in the Cushing High School Dance
Team and was selected to join the University of Central Oklahoma's
Kaliedescope Dance Team. Amy graduated from the University of Central
Oklahoma with honors and majored in Special Education/Learning
Disabilities. She was a member of the Sigma Kappa Sorority. Amy taught
Special Education in the Tulsa and Broken Arrow schools for four years.
She then went to work for TASC before joining Spirit Bank as a Business
Developer and eventually became a Residential Mortgage Originator. She
loved her banking job and loved her Spirit Bank family. She was a member
of First United Methodist Church of Tulsa and was involved with the
Tulsa Healing Center. She is survived by her parents, Rick and Vicki
Foster, brother, Charles F. Foster, IV, all of Tulsa, Aunt and Uncle Jay
and Christy Foster of Grand Lake, cousins, Cari Gibson, Sara Walters of
Tulsa, and Emily Childress of Cushing, and many other relatives and
numerous friends. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30AM, Thursday,
September 6, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church. Interment will
be at 2PM at the Euchee Valley Memorial Park Cemetery in Cushing, OK.
Friends are asked to make donation in Amy's name to the Tulsa Healing
Center located at 5525 E. 51st St., Suite 101, Tulsa, Ok. 74135
