Memorial services were Tuesday for former Cushing resident Shelly Denise Freeman of Depew. She died August 15,
2007 at age 39.
Born Sept. 13, 1968 in Cushing to Shirley Cross Grigg and Lyle Alexander
Grigg, Shelley was reared and educated in Cushing graduating with the Cushing High
School class of 1986.
On August 31, 1990, she married Kenneth Freeman. They had two daughters.
She attended Free Will Baptist Church in Shamrock.
Survivors include her daughters, Chelsea and Kendra Freeman of the home; her mother, Shirley Grigg, of Cushing; and two brothers, Chris Grigg of Sapulpa and Kent Grigg of Cushing.
Services under the direction of Davis Funeral Home were in the First Christian Church of Cushing. Rev. Roger White officiated.
