Hello! My name is Angelique and I love Barbie!
When I was just a young girl my sisters' had the
Barbie Styling Head and when they're weren't playing
with her I used to wash and style her hair.
I first started buying the play line Barbie's
for my goddaughter and my neighbor's
daughter around 1988. I thought to
myself that I would like a Barbie,
so I bought one for me too!
As I purchased more for my goddaughter I would
do the same for myself. At that time I
had six. Years later I now have over fifty!
But wait, I have Collectible Barbies' now.
Well it seems that my sister and brother-in-law seeing how
much I like Barbie (that's an understatement!) gave
me a Collectible Barbie for a Christmas present (in 1994).
In 1997 one of my co-workers left a Barbie catalog on
my desk before I came to work. While purusing
the catalog I came across Byron Lars' "Indigo Obsession".
As soon as I saw her, I fell in love.
I bought my first collectible Barbie "Indigo Obsession"
(obsession being the right word!) and
I am now a Barbie Collector!
I love Barbie so much that I decided to create this
web site so that I can share my passion with others.
Who knows maybe other people
will start collecting Barbie too!
