I was quite surprised by how good this book really was. I started it when it was released but than put it down. After finally finishing The Face (which a review is up on its page), I started it again and couldn't put it down. I needed to know what would happen. Odd Thomas is THAT kind of book, the kind that changes everything about how you about the literary world. Even though the ending was heartbreaking and shocking (I even saw it coming and it still hit me hard), Odd Thomas is Dean Koontz at his very best. Sometimes funny, sometimes creepy but altogether a great storyteller. Rating: *****
