Summary:
The heroes talk of their next step, as well as the wisdom of continuing on this path, while Versa is attacked from (another?) unknown assailiant...
It is obvious that the Doomguard, and possibly the Xaositects, are targetting the heroes. However, no one can agree on to the reasons. Is it because they have a priest of Tempus? Is it because they have two Sensates among them?
Meanwhile, Terrick the Black has discovered that he absorbed part of Fillias, the silver hound archon who died back in Gehenna. The barbarian attempts to adjust to this unwelcome infusion of law in his being, even as he attempt to decipher the visions this archon grants him.
To get some answers, the heroes travel to the Civic Festhall, where a raging party is being held. Everyone takes the time to enjoy themselves and experience as much as they can when Versa is almost killed while in the Sensorium, by an unknown assailant using what seems to be a sensory stone as a weapon...
