They journey to the Crushing Void, the demiplane attached to Long Silent Sigil, sneak in, and assault Jeweled Eye and its minions.

They manage to fell two of the mezzoloths; unfortunately, Garmundi was obviously under the magical sway of the mezzoloth commander. It retreats with Garmundi, as the surviving mezzoloths blanket the area with cover fire.

The result is they lose track of both Jeweled Eye and Garmundi in the resultant chaos, and Chloe is struck down my the mezzoloth's Cloudkill field.

They retreat back to the Expansionists and recoup only to have Jeweled Eye and his allies attack the headquarters.

The heroes face off with Thundertooth, the half-dragon grey render corrupted by the influence of the Iron Heart, which it has taken it inside itself, like a clockwork machine.

The day is saved as Chloe manages to re-lock the Iron Heart with one of the Keys of Aoskar. Thundertooth, robbed of its power, disintegrates.

Their victory is short lived, as the mezzoloths teleport in, as if anticipating this event, with Garmundi. The mad dwarven prophet unlocks one of the keyholes, which destroys Terrick's physical vessel, leaving the silvery Heart exposed...
