In rough outline, District 58 (Barfield: incumbent) is bounded by North Carolina on the northeast, and extends south of Highway 9, following Highway 9 eastward to Green Sea Road (410) and then southward till 410 merges with 701 (lies on the side of 701 away from the ocean), southward on 701 to Main Street in Conway, down 17th. Avenue crossing 501 shortly and then due south to New Road and 501, southeast down New Road, southwest on 701 to Georgetown County (remaining on the side of 701 away from the ocean).
