It's All In The Facts
~Jeff almost died in 98' because he was bit by a coral snake. Jeff now has a
snake tatoo on his arm of a coral snake to remind him to be careful and
respectful of the wildlife he handles!
~Jeff is a big fan of cartoonist Gary Larson and often reads a whole
calendar because he thinks they are too funny to wait!
~Jeff helped establish the Emerald Canopy Rainforest
Foundation.
~He served as a member of the United Nations
Environmental Program.
~Jeff worked on the JASON Project in Belize.
~He produced Jaquar Trax, a docu-drama in Costa
Rica.
~He produced and hosted the Disney Channel's series,
Going Wild With Jeff Corwin back in 1997
~Jeff's wife Tausha is not just a stay at homey but is just as active as he is!
She is a PHD student!
~Jeff is NOT a vegetarian! He eats a lot of fish and other seafood, but the
reason he doesn't eat a ton of meat is he is tryin to eat healthy.
~Jeff has done quite a few gross things in his travels such as eating
cockroaches, termites, waterbugs, tageo worms, and a ton of other
disgusting stuff!
~Jeff is a master of impressions! Among his list are Yoda, Miss Piggy,
Jimmy Stuart, Don Knox, and Tuvoc.
~When Jeff actually gets to be home he enjoys fishing and seeing movies.
~When on the job, Jeff's film crew can shoot 12 to 16 hours in a day!
Though sometines it all ends up being only a 4 min. episode clip!
~His first conservation experience was to the rainforests of
Belize in 1984.
