OUTLINE:
A movie based off the 1989-94 series starring Duncan Regehr as Zorro, and Henry Darrow as Don Alejandro. The Emissary for Spain (James Horan) has come to Los Angeles claiming the wealth of the lands in the name of the King. Appearing to have a personal vendetta against the de la Vega family, and not satisfied with just the war-taxes the town find themselves against the Emissary. Zorro soon appears, and the Emissary finds himself facing a new and popular adversary. Going after the tithes of the Church he schemes to entrap Zorro. In the meantime a mysterious woman arrives who Don Alejandro recognizes as Don Diego's mothers mid-wife. Claiming to be the mother of the Emissary, her secreat soon reveals the real truth behind their conspiracy of blood.
My opinion: Totaly excellent movie! Wish I could see some of the TV series. Again I found this film on VHS at Mijer for only $5.
