Prerequisites: Inner Strength, manifester level 3rd+
Benefit: After each day’s period of rest and concentration required to recharge your power points, you can also choose to sequester one or more powers you know. When you sequester a power, you lose the use of it for the day. At the same time, you gain a bonus to your power point total for the day equal to the power point cost of the power(s) you sequestered. Sequestered powers automatically return at the beginning of the following day, at which time you can choose to sequester the same, different, or no powers. You cannot choose to sequester a power if it is the only power of your discipline that you know for a given level. You cannot choose to sequester so many powers that your new power point total would exceed your normal power point total by more than 50 percent.
Prerequisites: Manifester level 3rd+
Benefit: When altering a power with metapsionic feats, you can spend a number of power points equal to your manifester level plus 1.
Normal: When using metapsionic feats on a power, you can normally only spend a number of power points equal to your manifester level minus one.
Special: You can gain this feat multiple times. Each time it increases by 2 the number of power points you can spend on a power altered by metapsionic feats.
Prerequisites: Abil 25+ (whatever Ability is linked to that discipline).
Benefit: Choose one power you know of 7th level or less. Your psicrystal can now manifest this power 1/day as a spell-like ability as a psion of a level equal to your caster level. You cannot bestow a power to your psicrystal if the power normally has a material component cost of more than 1 gp, or an XP cost.
Special: You can gain this feat multiple times. Each time you take the feat, you can give your psicrystal a new spell-like ability, or another daily use of the same spell-like ability.
Prerequisites: Manifester level 3rd+
Benefit: Each time this feat is taken, the player can spend an additional two power points more than usual to augment manifestations with metapsionic feats. Additionally, the character receives 19 PPPs initially upon taking this feat. Each additional time this feat is taken, they receive another allotment of PPPs equal to the previous allotment +2 (1st: 19, 2nd: 21, 3rd: 23, etc.)
Normal: When using metapsionic feats to augment manifestations, youcan spend a number of points equal to your manifester level minus 1 (minimum 1 PPP).
Special: You can gain this feat multiple times. Each time it increases by 2 the number of power points you can spend on a power altered by metapsionic feats.
Improved Metapsionics [Epic]
You can manifest powers using metapsionic feats more easily than normal.
Prerequisites: Psicraft 30+ ranks, four or more metapsionic feats
Benefit: The psionic power point modifier of all your metapsionic feats is reduced by two points, to a minimum of +1. For instance, you could manifest a quickened power, which normally costs 8 additional power points, as a power which instead costs 6 additonal power points.
This feat has no effect on metamagic feats whose power point modifier is +2 or less. Special: You can gain this feat multiple times. The effects stack, though you can’t reduce any metapsionic feat’s power point adjustment to less than +2 power points.
Prerequisites: Any other metapsionic feat
Benefit: You can use this feat on any power that specifies a single target, has a range greater than touch, and deals damage--powers that do not deal damage, or powers that deal damage only as a side effect (such as disintegrate) cannot be used with this feat. When you use this feat on a power, the damage dice of the power equals its standard value minus two dice. However, for every round you can maintain concentration, you manifest the power at your foe (or a new foe in range) again, without any additional power point cost. The power’s saving throw and power resistance requirements, if any, are resolved normally each round. You can maintain concentration for a maximum number of rounds equal to your manifester level. If you break concentration, or are forced to break concentration (see rules for Concentration in the Player’s Handbook), the power also ends.
A continued power costs a number of power points equal to its standard cost + 4. If used with a scaled power (per the Power Scaling variant rule), the power is scaled only on the first round of manifestation.
Prerequisites: Inner Strength
Benefit: You can store additional power points in your own body, treating yourself in some ways as a crystal capacitor. Unlike a standard crystal capacitor, you can store a number of power points equal to your effective manifester level. All other rules for using a crystal capacitor apply. For instance, an 11th-level psion can store up to 11 power points, while a 4th-level psion could store only 4.
Prerequisites: Int 19+, Inner Strength, any two Metamagic Feats
Benefits: You may add the ability modifier of the key ability for your primary discipline to the DC of any arcane spell you can cast. This costs a number of power points equal to the ability modifier used.
Benefit: For the purpose of determining bonus power points, treat the corresponding ability score of your primary discipline as +2, and for the purpose of determining saving throw DCs of the powers you manifest, treat all ability scores as +2. If you have more than one psionic class, this benefits only one of them.
Special: You may only take this feat as a 1st-level character. If you take this feat more than once (for example, if you are a human or another type of creature that gets more than one feat at 1st level), it applies to a different psionic class each time. You can take this feat even if you don't have any psionic classes yet.
