Nikar much resembles Venkelos, having a red crystal implanted in his forehead, and red pinpoints for eyes. His body has moldering flesh clinging to it. Most of his body is covered with his full plate armor, all but his head and neck and his lower arms. He also wears bracers of armor +5. His hands are kept bare, in order to use his touch attacks. On top of his armor, he wears his red clerical vestments (greater vestments of power and faith), with Bane's holy symbol displayed prominently, and on top of this, he wears a black cloak of resistance +5. On his belt hangs his banesword.
Inspired by Bane, admiring of Venkelos, and under the tutelage of Fzoul Chembryl, Nikar is another of the few baneliches to survive the Tyrantfog and the return of their lord, Bane. In life a noble, but bored with the life of a pampered prince, Nikar went to the Church of Bane, to learn how to control the populace he would inherit after his aging father's death.
