Tharag is large, even for an orog, pushing over 6 1/2 feet tall and having large ears and whitish eyes. He walks with his large mob, wearing heavy, adamantine field plate, and he carries an equally heavy-looking orc double-axe, his his primary weapon of choice. he also carries a large greatsword and greataxe, both hidden within his gloves. He often wears a cloak to complete the outfit. Though not in truth a king, yet, Tharag wears a fanciful circlet that allows him to control beasts and monsters who might serve or oppose his forces. However, few might actually see Tharag, considering the mass of orcs, bugbears, hobgoblins, and a few other orogs who surround him. However, having four armored trolls walking around makes the group even harder to miss, and they rarely drift far from their master. A note to the weary, beware tiefling scouts.

As is known by many, mobs of orcs sometimes descend from their homes in the Spine of the World to attack the other peoples of Faerun. What's scary is that some of them have found a new, powerful leader among their kind; one who may be able to lead his armies to victory. Tharag lived under the earth for several decades, learning of war and weapons, of how to use his fists alone when nothing more was available, and of his god, Grummsh. These things all together helped mold this perceived brute into a brute who actually has brains, and a great deal of strength, too. Once just another rank-and-file in an orog mob, Tharag killed his commander and ascended to lead it himself, killing a good number of others who would have liked to rule instead. Since then, Tharag has journeyed a good distance, and absorbed several other orc mobs into his own, amassing quite a little army at his disposal. With Tharag leading the way, the people around the Spine of the World mountains have something to fear indeed.
