Ringmaster

(Prestige Class)

One of the most useful, easy-to-carry magical items is the many rings of the world. There are rings for food, flight, spellcasting, and a thousand other uses, but most people can only wear and benefit from only two at a time. Items can allow the use of a third, but they themselves take up room. Some few, however, have discovered how to make the legendary many-rings gauntlets.

Though they can dress in anything a wizard might normally, ringmasters wear very fancy and beautiful gauntlets, and often dress in further finery to accent these.

CLASS FEATURES

All of the following are class features of the Ringmaster prestige class.

Spells per Day: Each time the character gains a level of ringmaster, he gains additional spell slots and casting ability as if going up a level in his original class. If he has more than one spellcasting class, he must choose which class this benefits. No other level-dependant benefits are gained or affected.

Create Many-Ring Gauntlet: At 1st level, a ringmaster learns to create the magic item that makes them what they are. These gauntlets are made with the Craft Arms & Armor feat. A ringmaster can only have one set of these in existence at one time, and if they attempt to make a new set, the old ones deactivate permanently. Both gauntlets must be worn for them to operate. They allow the use of as many magic rings as they have level of the ringmaster prestige class. They take the up the equipment slot that any pair of gauntlets would.

Ring Capacity: At 3rd, and every level thereafter, the ringmaster gains the ability to add an additional ring to their gauntlet, though they have to make it themselves. By 10th level, a ringmaster can wear a different magic ring on each finger and thumb.
