Deckbuilding: Toons, Naughty or Nice?

Ok after the terrible failure of my first article (it really really sucked --;; ), I decided to try again. I looked for a rarly used deck and i found Toons. Yes toons. Toons right now are not that great (until next few sets not sure witch one) but are good for fun. Who doesnt love a little fun? More people need to remember Yugioh is about fun and not HAHA I play raigeki and attack with summoned skull i win!! haha! Yugioh is supposed to be fun. Ok, enough blabing on to the article.

Like I said I'm making a Toon deck, and whats nessisary in a toon deck? Well toons of course. (you could not add toons and call it a toon deck and look like a idiot, but thats just me)

Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon
Group: Dragon/Toon
Type: Light
Level:8
Atk: 3000
Def: 2500
This card cannot be summoned unless "Toon World" is on the field. This card cannot attack in the same turn that it is summoned. Pay 500 Life Points each time this monster attacks. When "Toon World" is destroyed, this card is also destroyed. If your opponent doesn't control a Toon monster on the field, this card may inflict Direct Damage to your opponent's Life Points. If a Toon monster is on the your opponent's side of the field, your attack must target the Toon monster.

Manga Ryu-Ran
Group: Dragon/Effect
Type: FIRE
Level:7
Atk: 2200
Def: 2600
Same. See above.

Toon Mermaid
Group: Aqua/Toon
Type: Water
Level:4
Atk: 1400
Def: 1500
Same. See above.

Toon Summoned Skull
Group: Fiend/Toon
Type: Dark
Level:6
Atk: 2500
Def: 1200
Same. See above.

And of couse the main Toon card, Toon world.

Toon World
Group: Magic Card
Type: Magic
Icon:Continuous
This card is activated by paying 1000 of your Life Points.

If you read all of those you probably are thinking to your self, "Man Toons sure are greedy using all of those life points." (well your probably not thinking that but whatever). To take care of that problem you will need a few life point gain cards, i picked:

Solemn Wishes
Group: Trap Card
Type: Trap
Icon:Continuous
You gain 500 Life Points when you draw a card (or cards).

Poison of the Old Man
Group: Spell Card
Type: Spell
Icon:Quick-Play
Select and activate 1 of the following effects: - Increases your Life Points by 1200 points. - Inflict 800 points of Direct Damage to your opponent's Life Points.

Dian Keto the Cure Master
Group: Magic Card
Type: Magic
Increases your Life Points by 1000 points.

Now you need a few cards to protect your precious toons from your opponents Raigekis and Harpies Feather Dusters. (wouldnt it be horrible if your toon deck got beat by a beat down :>Spell Shield Type-8
Group: Trap Card
Type: Trap
Icon:Counter
When this face-down card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, your opponent must select and execute 1 of the following effects: - Discard 1 card in his/her hand at random. - Select 1 monster on his/her side of the field and destroy it.

Seven Tools of the Bandit
Group: Trap Card
Type: Trap
Icon:Counter
Pay 1000 of your Life Points to negate the activation of a Trap Card and destroy it.

Imperial Order
Group: Trap Card
Type: Trap
Icon:Continuous
As long as this card remains face-up on the Field, negate the effects of all Magic Cards. Pay 700 Life Points during each of your Standby Phases. If you cannot, this card is destroyed.

Well in a deck like this you need some level 4- monsters with effects that help ya. I picked:

Penguin Soldier
Group: Aqua/Effect
Type: Water
Level:2
Atk: 750
Def: 500
Flip:Return up to 2 monsters on the Field to their owner's hands.
(to help clear the field of your opponents monsters)

Sinister Serpent
Group: Reptile/Effect
Type: Water
Level:1
Atk: 300
Def: 250
During your standby Phase, if a Sinister Serpent exists in your Graveyard, you can return the Sinister Serpent to your hand.
(for sacrifises and to make sure you always got a monster)

Twin-Headed Behemoth
Group: Dragon/Effect
Type: Wind
Level:3
Atk: 1500
Def: 1200
If this monster is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, this monster is Special Summoned with an ATK and DEF of 1000 during the End Phase of the turn. This effect can be used only once during the current Duel.
(for sacrifises and a wall)

Witch of the Black Forest
Group: Spellcaster/Effect
Type: Dark
Level:4
Atk: 1100
Def: 1200
When this card is sent from the Field to the Graveyard, move 1 monster with a DEF of 1500 or less from your Deck to your hand. Your Deck is then shuffled.
(to search for toons and others)

Sangan
Group: Fiend/Effect
Type: Dark
Level:3
Atk: 1000
Def: 600
When this card is sent from the Field to the Graveyard, move 1 monster with an ATK of 1500 or less from your Deck to your hand. Your Deck is then shuffled.
(same as witch of the black forest, to get those monsters you need)

Man-Eater Bug
Group: Insect/Effect
Type: Earth
Level:2
Atk: 450
Def: 600
FLIP: Destroys 1 monster on the field (regardless of position).
(to wipe out opponents monsters)

Magician of Faith
Group: Spellcaster/Effect
Type: Light
Level:1
Atk: 300
Def: 400
FLIP: Select 1 Magic Card from your Graveyard and return it to your hand.
(to get back toon world)

Fiber Jar
Group: Plant/Effect
Type: Earth
Level:3
Atk: 500
Def: 500
FLIP: Both players unite all their respective cards on the field, in their hands, and in their Graveyards with their respective Decks and shuffle them. Then both players draw 5 cards from their shuffled Decks.
(in case you need a fresh start)

Cyber Jar
Group: Rock/Effect
Type: Dark
Level:3
Atk: 900
Def: 900
FLIP: Destroy all monsters on the field (including this monster). Both players then pick up (not Draw) 5 cards from the top of their respective Decks and show the cards to each other. Immediately Special Summon any Monster Cards of Level 4 or lower among them on the field in face-up Attack Position or face-down Defense Position. The rest of the cards picked up are placed in the player's hand.
(to wipe out the old and make way for the new. And i love cyber jar personally put in every deck i make :woot: (almost) )

Breaker The Magical Warrior
Group: Spellcaster/Effect
Type: Dark
Level:4
Atk: 1600
Def: 1000
When this card is successfully Normal Summonend, put 1 spell counter on it (max. 1) Increase the ATK of this monster by 300 points for each Spell counter on this card. Also you can remove 1 Spell Counter from this card to destroy 1 Spell Card or Trap Card on the field.
(to wipe out magic/trap cards and deck needs at least one strong level 4 monster)
