Tyranid Zoanthrope

Zoanthrope

Hovering like a bloated dirigible above the rest of the chitinous Tyranid horde, the Zoanthrope is a living conduit through which the Hive Mind can focus is psychic might. Whether this floating powerhouse is used as a relay to keep the lesser synapse creatures is line or blast its fleshy enemies with coruscating bolts of pure warp energy, this beast is a considerable threat of the Tyranid army!

Rumored to be genetically engineered from Eldar DNA, these disturbing creatures are perfect for bolstering the morale of the alien fiends or an all out pummeling with their potent psychic attacks.

A zoanthrope is rather revolting to behold. It appears as a giant, floating head, its cranium distended due to its swollen brain, which can be seen on the bottom of its head. From this enormous head extends a barbed spinal cord, and also attached to this is that it has two arms and legs. These limbs are stunted and atrophied from lack of use, but a zoanthrope can attack with claws if absolutely necssary.
