A diminuitive race of warriors, the Lannik race are held to a centuries-old code of Honor. Although generally calm and slow to rile, the Lannik are a race of fierce warriors when angered or called to battle.

Personality: serious, contemplative, honor-bound

Physical Description: Lannik are short humanoids, standing 1 to 1.2 meters tall, with large pointed ears. Lannik warriors wear their hair in a topnot.

Adventurers: Most males--and many females--serve in the planetary militia, celebrating the species' past as a warrior race. Some take on off-world mercenary work.

• +2 Constitution, -2 Charisma. Lannik are tough and hardy people, but their serious and often gruff personalities can clash with others.
• Small. As Small creatures, Lannik gain a +1 size bonus to their Defense, a +1 size bonus to their attack rolls, and a +4 size bonus on Hide checks, but they must use smaller weapons than Humans use, and their lifting and carrying limits are three-quarters of those of Medium-size characters.
• Lannik base speed is 6 meters.
• +2 species bonus to Listen checks.
• Bonus Feat: Endurance.
