| Goku or Kakkarot,being the main character of DragonBall,as well as DragonBall Z, and Dragon
Ball GT. His character starts off actually on the planet Vegeta , the home of the Saiya-Jins [ inhabitants of
the planet]. His father, Bardock is a lower class fighter whom under the control of the tyrant Freeza, and
at that point in time, the most powerful being in the entire universe[hard to believe later in the series]. You'll find out later that Bardock eventually when taking over a planet for Freeza, gains an ability to see the future as well as read others minds, which then later causes him to turn open Freeza and try to destroy him.[which would have been great ] He will eventually pass by his son which at the time has a significant normal and average power level, that of a low class Saiya-Jin. As Bardock returns from an ambush, which his crew was destroyed in, you notice him passing his sons space pod, as Kakkarot was on his way to his destination
Earth. Bardock's ability to see the future, clashes with him when he finds out the future of his son and his destiny, later seeing that Kakkarot, will end up defeating Freeza, in one of the biggest battles of DragonBall Z.[you will later find out about that in this profile]
As Kakkarot arrives on Planet Earth, one of which was supposed to be takin over by Kakkarot to be handed over to Freeza, he crash lands in a large forest area, later found, by a mysterious old man named, Gohan, which adopts Kakkarot and names him Goku [ we'll use Goku for the rest of the profile :) ]. Over time, Goku proceeds to be a very hostile little baby, hitting, biting , disobeying , and so forth towards Gohan, till one day he falls off of a backpack that he was being carried on Gohan's back, onto a rock, which he hit his head hard enough to knock him unconcious and cause him to lose memory, and observations, and from that day forth Goku became one of the most gentle warriors known, alive and dead. Through many hard times though Goku goes through, one of the hardest would be on a single night, which every few years or so, a full moon shows through, bright, which Goku being a Saiya-Jin and having his tail in-tact still transforms as he looks directly into the full moon into a giant ape-like creature which from Goku's knowledge, he has know memory of being the ape. [ all Saiya-Jins, with a tail are able to transform into an ape-like creature called an Oozaru]He, seriously terrorizes the area around his home, sad to say, also killing his adopted grandfather, Gohan, when he, not knowing it, steps on him. Ouch. As you see next, Goku and Bulma are riding through the forest when they come upon a town which the " Bleeper, " later known as the Dragon Radar led them too. Soon the towns - people of the town bribe them into fighting off a giant monster known as Oolong. Once they do that, the DragonBall is theirs Since Oolong takes all of the little girls of the town, Goku dresses up as a little girl, which draws Goku there, and when Oolong, being able to transform into things, changes into a man, and Bulma falls in love, which gives away their identity, eventually Goku finds out that Oolong, not being strong, whatsoever can only hold a form for five minutes, he sees that Oolong is only a small pig, whom was laughed at when he was young. Anyway, Oolong, which treated all the girls with royalty, lets them lose, he joins the team of Bulma a nd Goku, and they gain their fifth DragonBall. As they draw down the path to the next two DragonBall's they have to cross a desert, which is known for a bandit named, Yamcha. When they have to stop in the desert, Bulma gets knocked out, and Yamcha prowls up on them. Goku and Yamcha fight, and the battle goes on, TILL, Bulma wakes up and finds Yamcha, and ends up falling in love with him. Since, Yamcha is well, afraid of girls at the moment, he runs from and fight and leaves them there but not before Puar, whom you meet along side of Yamcha, sees that Oolong is there, and they scowl and so forth. When they eventually move on, Yamcha finds them, after over-hearing about the DragonBall's and the wishes, he plans to get the DragonBall's and wish to not be afraid of girls from that point on. As Goku, Bulma, and Oolong head d own the path to the next dragonballs, along with Yamcha and Puar following just yards behind them, they encounter that the 2 of the 3 remaining DragonBalls as seen on the dragonball radar are directly next to each. Well, as everyone should know, that is a little odd since the DragonBall's scatter in all different directions. Goku and Bulma seem to think that someone has started gathering them, and well, they have. In fact, an evil emperor named, Pilaf has set out to gather all of the DragonBall's in order to give him supreme rule over the entire Earth, well, once Pilaf's two goons meets up with Goku, they seem to think that this little boy isn't very ordinary. In fact, Goku is not even close to being an ordinary boy. Goku, not used to seeing machines in work, and machines at all, thinks that the planes, and little bots that Pilaf's goons use are animals, and to that... his food. After a while, once the goons get away from Goku, he is left alone, and to head back to camp. Well, Goku and the gang, Bulma, Oolong, and with Yamcha and Puar head along the pike, they meet up with a little girl, named ChiChi, who to look at the moment, does not look very strong or brave, but with the ability to release rage when able to, becomes quite the fighter. Anyways, ChiChi was being chased by a rather large dinosaur, when Goku steps in to help her out, ChiChi ends up hitting him, and then all breaks lose, but after the little scirmish, ChiChi ended up being knocked unconcious, and Goku left her there for the time being. The gang ends up going a little further down were they met up in a small runned down city with a ruth-less guy named the Ox King. Well, his home, up ontop of the mountain was incased in a fire, which allowed him never to go back up there. The Ox King came out with a rage, because his daughter was missing, for one, so it ended up that Goku and the Ox King fought, and once the Ox King found out they knew about Chi Chi, and where she was. After stopping for a little Ox King explains to Goku, Bulma, and Oolong that his little girl, ChiChi ran off to get some food when she ended up missing her way home, so the Ox King was not able to find her, and since they saw her a little ways back, he would be greatful if they would be able to return her to him. Goku, riding Nimbus, set out to pick up Chi Chi, and at a nice pace too. He stopped at where he saw her, but when he got off to talk to her, Chi Chi was not so easy to please. Remembering the last little battle they had, she attacked him. After a few minutes, they stopped, and Goku explained that her father was looking for her, and that he was there to bring her back to her home. Since ChiChi was the father of the Ox King and all, she was pure of heart, so she was able to ride on the Nimbus cloud. Not after making Goku fall off though. After a rough ride, they eventually made it back, and with a great welcome, Ox King gave ChiChi a hug and all that welcoming. Ox King explained that a which put a curse on his home, so that the fire would never stop. The Ox King also explained that the special bamboo fan would put out the flames if they could go back to the island that Roshi, the turtle hermit was on because that was the only place that the bamboo fan was grown on. So, Goku headed along the way to his island at a fast pace too. As you know, Pilaf is looking for the ball's, and well, they found that his goons went to Roshis' house, but since Roshi gave the DragonBall up, he did not have it. After Roshi ended up kicking the goon's tail, Goku landed on the island and talked the problem that the Ox King had with Roshi, and ended up finding out that he was once Roshi's pupil. Also, we found out that Roshi had the bamboo fan in his house, and was using it as a table top. As Goku and Roshi headed out to the place where the others were, the goon's were on their tail, and eventually cought up with them, and they fought. Ending up, the goons burned the bamboo fan on fire, and Goku had to return to Roshi's and ask him if he had another bamboo fan, which he did not. So Goku ended up talking to him, and eventually Roshi decided that he was going to go there himself to put out the flames. Well, once they arrived, Ox King rejoiced with his old master, and explained to him what the situation was with the fire ontop of his mountain, and after a minute or two of buffing up, Roshi pulled his hands back and to the side of him and a blue ball of energy recided between his palms. After a bit of charging up, Roshi yelled out the words, "Ka...me...ha...me...haa!" and a large stream of blue energy shot forth from his hands, which ended up putting out the flames on top of the mountain. After a minute or two of thanking and things, Goku was already starting to try and gain the power of the Kamehameha wave. Roshi, tried to explain to Goku that it took him 30 years to master the Kamehameha wave's power's. But, as we know already, Goku is not an ordinary person, in fact, after a second of powering up, Goku yelled out, "Kame..hame..haa!," and in fact a small ball of blue energy shot out from his palms. Everyone was astounded by his power, and the fact that he learned the technique in less then 5 minutes. Well, as the story pushes on, we next see Goku, Bulma, and Oolong, headin' down the path to the next area where the 2 remaining DragonBall's are. Seeing as how the ball's are located together, it makes their journey a lot less difficult. As the gang reaches a crossing, they see that they must cross a small, old looking, beat-down bridge, across a large cliff surrounding area. Once they start crossing the bridge they notice someone onthe other side... one of Pilaf's goon's in fact. Well, as they start running back, the goon breaks the cross-bridge, and the gang ends up in the river below. With a little help from Yamcha and Puar, they manage to get out of the river, alive, to say the least, and for now, it looks like Yamcha and Puar are now going to help Bulma, Goku, and Oolong to find the last remaining DragonBall's. As they head towards the area, they find out that the ball's are located inside of a large castle type place, and that they are being welcome'd by whoever is inside of the palace. Well, once they get inside, they find out they the owner of the place is actually there to collect the DragonBall's, and.... that he is going to take them from the gang with or without force. Goku, being who he is, is not going to give them up without a fight. Once locked in a small room, Pilaf tells them who he is, and why he has locked them in, and what his plans are with them. After a moment of thinking, he eventually lets loose some sleeping gas, and ends up going into the room and collecting the DragonBalls from Goku's pouch Ending up, that he now has gained all of the DragonBall's and well, if you were anyone BUT Goku, you would know that the world is now through with. When Goku thinks for a second he begins trying Kamehameha wave after Kamehameha wave against the large, thick concrete wall. Not able to break but a small hole in the wall, Puar and Oolong change forms into a bat, and fly through the hole, as Pilaf begins summoning the eternal dragon. Goku keeps trying his Kamehameha waves at the wall, and Pilaf begins wishing, but a s the words studdered out a bit, Oolong jumped in the way, pushed Pilaf down, and made his own wish...and of all things, for a pair of underwear, even with the little Eternal Dragon on the front of them. Well, as Oolong has the underwear over his head, Pilaf gets really mad. He ends up telling his goons to kill all of them, right as Goku, Yamcha and Bulma get lose. Pilaf calls out his dogs, and sicks them on Goku and the gang.[about 40 to 45 doberman's :( ] and well, they are up against a wall, where sooner or later they eventually give up, and are put in some boiler room, that has special steel walls and a large glass window ontop where when the sun comes up the room's tempature boils, causing the people inside to burn to death..[sick, right?] Anyways, as the night heads on, a full moon is brightly glowing over the castle, where as a story begins, everyone finds out that Goku's grandfather was killed by a large ape-like monster that comes out when full moon's show.. and well, everyone finds out after a moment of thinking, that Goku was ending up to be the ape-like monster. They all get scared, as Goku looks back, and takes one giant look at the moon, and well, he turns into the monster. Eventually growing large enough that he breaks open the glass, and blows up the castle, not before causing Bulma and Yamcha to fall in love. Afterwards, when Yamcha cuts Goku's tail off, which turns him back into little Goku, and as they head home, remembering everything that happened along their first adventure together, they promise to each other to take another journey together in one year. From there on, Bulma and Yamcha ends up falling in love, Puar and Oolong are now friends, and well, as for little Goku, he plans on taking up Roshi's little proposition, and takes the Nimbus cloud over towards Roshi's house, in order to train under him and become stronger. |
