** Merry Christmas **
Well,..sorry for the lack of updates but here it is,
The news that any band hates to write...
One up Grunt
Has Disbanded!!!
Since the band is no longer together - i will speak for myself on this:
Since our last show (Aug 10) We all kinda knew it was falling apart, and noone really tried to keep it together, im sure i could have tried harder
But when people have their minds set, theres really nothing that can change that.
This band was the coolest band i have ever been in - and will always remember "SATURDAY!" (inside joke)
I want to thank:
Jay "money" L, Edwin "Shit that" Rama, Craig McMath, Helga " the helganator", Mike K, Juri "Saturday" Rollo ,Edward Rama (thanks for the birthday gift Ed, your the best!)...and Jesse(the 360 booker)
and the bands:
the guys from "The Hellz Kitchen Show", TripChord, JMG's, Sean and Scott from "Siphter", Overview, the Taken,
*all the people in our Studio:
John "Krusty", Gene, Dave , Garen , Paul, Tim, Chris "Hey guy!" ,Jamie(studio guy) the beer store, the coffee shop,
all the people who supported us, and came to our shows (you have no idea how much that meant to us)
But most of all i want to thank that really drunk guy who was at our "Sneaky Dee" show! - Man you ARE Rock and Roll!!!!
We had some really good times - and some really Bad times - i guess we just were'nt strong enough to deal with the hard times as a whole,...
For anyone who has been in a band knows it takes ALOT more than just your talent to keep a band together - it takes:
Courage,Patience,Respect,Strength,understanding,
Chemistry, and most of all "Friendship" and even more Respect.
We fell short on some of those off stage.
but on stage it felt like home.
I had a blast working,and hanging out with "my friends" - i miss them alot, and Wish them all the best!

We just finished playing "Festa da Puta" in Stayner,Ontario
We had a great time on and off stage!
We want to thank our friends from "the Hellz Kitchen Show" for inviting us to play
gotta love camping and getting drunk in the woods!
*One up Grunt has decided to take the rest of the summer off to write more songs, so there will be no more shows as of yet in the works,(the studio is calling us)
We hope to have a few new songs for you guys for the upcomming fall

One up Grunt is in the recording studio working on a 3 song Demo at the moment,...
Mike K (guitar player of"Edwin & the Pressure
)
is producing the demo for us, and has been giving us great advice along the way!
We have recorded the Drums,Bass,and Guitar for the song "im Listening" (formaly known as "No Sense")
-the results have blown us away,about how good it sounds!!
We are very excited,and can't wait until it's finished!

- it's a rough recording but its something to tide you over till we go back into the recording studio
