blood soaked and honor bound: sku

Moshi moshi, Becka and Karen-san! As somewhat inspired by your ***lovely***  "Awards Received" section of your sugoi page, I felt that it was my duty (gasp how dramatic!) to inform you of another Utena related bowling activity.

You see, my evil cohort, Sailorbowler, and I practically live at the bowling alley. For some odd reason beyond my comprehension, Bowler-chan has nicknamed the five pin the "sex" pin. I'm not quite sure as to *why*, that's just how her mind works. Anyway, one day we're talking about Utena and we figure out the perfect name for the five pin. The Akio-Pin. If this is what happens when we get bored, you should see us when we're hyper. What follows are the "Rules of the Akio-Pin" created and compiled by me, Bowler-chan, and Trunks. I'll warn you now, it isn't pretty.

If you pick up a single Akio-Pin on the second ball, you don't have to go for a ride in the Akio-Car. If you miss it, well, you do.
Leaving an Akio-Pin (after knocking over any other previous pins) on the second ball does not count.
If the Akio-Pin had previously been surrounded by any colored pins, it counts twice.
If the Akio-Pin *is* a colored pin, it counts three times. (I actually had one of these this morning... yes, I picked it up.)
If you miss the Akio-Pin in a lily (7-5-10 pins), it counts four times.
If you miss a colored Akio-Pin in a lily, just go home, you're screwed. (For the sake of continuity, it counts five times.)
Any of the preceding rules that occur during league play are much worse than in practice where they don't count unless you want them to.
Any of the preceding rules that occur in a tournament are *infinitely* worse than practice or league play.

Well, those seem to be all the rules we've got at the moment, so consider yourselves lucky. ^_^ Actually, the Akio-Pin has gotten to be quite a legend down at our bowling center and many of the people who bowl on leagues there know all about it. Frightening, ne?
