Taking influence by the original Death/Black Metal groups such as Slayer, Possessed, Dark Angel, Destruction, Venom, Sodom, Celtic Frost and so forth. The Cortez brothers went through a few line-ups in order to form the metaphorical puzzle which would articulate their vision into a reality.

from New Jersey,with the purpose and intent to play Blackened death
metal with melodic guitarwork and progressive elements such as
polyrhythms and odd time signatures. Although very different from the
black metal of the early 90's, Abysmal Gates still take the stage in
corpsepaint, leather and spikes, keeping in tradition of old school
black metal such as Mayhem and Emperor.
KERETHIAL was formed in the summer of 2001, under Lord Xezbeth and Thorn who had met each other while on the internet. Since both sought an outlet, from which to express experimental musical creativity in the underground Black Metal scene, they collaberated. From their collaberation, KERETHIAL was born, with the intent to play raw, thrashing, and powerful, yet epic and melodic Black Fucking Metal.
The Obliterate Plague formed in the summer of 2000 in the wastelands of Utah by Alex Demoniac (guitars, vocals) and Desecrator (drums)
throughout the years up to 2002 the band went through many line up changes and in 2001 the band recruited Lakhamu (bass) and went through 2 more guitarists until march 2002 when the band decided to continue as a trio until the time is right to recruit another guitarist.
Morke Helvetes was created by Suspira and Skein Funeral.They started initially writing the songs by sending them back and forth via the internet,with Suspira living in Florida and Skein in California.But they are planning to do some real time recording for finals versions of all of the songs.
