Tools in Magic

Cords:

Cords are worn around the waist. The average length is nine feet or 3 meters. Certain colours of cord indicated a certain amount of initiation. But be careful if you do not have any power do not imply that you do by wearing a coloured cord. Choose a natural colour like brown or white. Also cords are used in Spells cord spells. After stating your wish a knot is tied in the cord after saying each of these chants :

By knot of one, the spells begun.

By the knot of two, it cometh true.

By knot of three , so mote it be.

By knot of four, it's strengthened more.

By knot of five, The spells alive.

By knot of six, this spell I fix.

By knot of seven, the stars in heaven.

By knot of eight, the stroke of fate.

By knot of nine, the thing is mine.

Your cord spell is now over.

Incense: 

Incense represents air. it is better that we use our own incense that we made our self. The different incenses stimulate different energies and moods within us. Incense clears away the raising magic ad is also used for our own use as a nice smell.

Water:

water is used to represent the element water, Although many bottled or tap water we use today is pumped with chemicals and is often not pure/ It is better to buy pure spring water, r collect your own water from a nearby spring to perform magic. An left over water must be poured into the ground. If you are doing your spell in doors.. keep a potted plant near you to always pour your water in. "Once you have made something sacred you must treat it with respect."

Candles:

Candles are used to give us light, and also to mark a spiritual place. candles are best when they are made out of bees wax. Different elements use different coloured candles such as (East{air}nlue)

(South{fire}red)

(West{water}bluey-green)

(North{Earth}brown)

Athame:

The athame is a black handled ceremonial dagger used in rituals and chants. It is usually better that you make your own athame but many people today to not have the skills of making blades. So if you buy an athame it is often better to carve something into the wooden handle. Come people carve rune symbols onto it. Or magic symbols. In magic we must think before we act as knives are dangerous thing. This knife does not give us power and can ONLY be used in magic. NOT AS A HARM INFLICTING TOOL.  The athame is used mainly for casting circles and calling the quarters.  Moving it around visualizing our own energy going through it. We keep our magical energies private. So do not let any one touch your athame ad do not share it with other people.

Wands: 

Wands are also used for casting circles and calling the quarters. Wands are very easy to make yourself.  We use the wand to channel energy. The wand is more natural than the athame. So we use a twig which should be longer than the length of your lower arm. usually at the end a charged crystal is bound to it. Put some thing of yourself into/onto the wand, paint it or carve some thing on it.
