After Death

Laid in the ground under six feet of earth.
Eerie and quiet befalls your dirtied casket.
In your long black dress you lay for sleep.
Most unfortunate your not tired.
Twidling of thumbs waiting for sleep to come.
Awake and scared you do lay, oxygen almost gone.
An eternity of sleep creeps upon your decaying shoulders.
Blanketing you with ease as you fall into its trance.
In the ground you lay, sleeping after a very long day.
