The Other Side Of Happiness

Incoherant images pass by my umoving eyes.
Wide, empty holes , once of gleeful laughter.
Parted lips of a last breath taken and shock of a heart beat skipped.
Hair dampened by soft tears of the other life.
The tight grasp of a hollow exterior.
Small drops of the dark red substance stain the white sheets, that I was once so safely beneathe.
Spreading by the second as to leave the mark of what its done.
Thin vertical cuts etched in the skin, spilling of the sinful liquid that took me away.
Hand out stretched calling for help but all that answers is the sleek blade in my palm.
Problem solved no more pain, I am at peace ,for one sacrifice made.
Would have it mattered if I lived one more day?
