Part 459
Lynne stepped into the semi-dark hotel suite, heard the lock click behind her and immediately found herself spun around and pressed against the solid mahogany door. She barely had time to breathe as Kevin moved against her, rubbing his body against hers while his lips nibbled at her neck.
"Kevin-" she whispered, her hands pulling at his shirt.
"Lynne, I can’t wait." He licked at the rim of her ear and she shuddered against him. "I’ve waited so long. I need to feel you, baby. I need to see you and I need to watch you while you tremble beneath me."
"God, Kevin," she whimpered, and gasped as he moved his erection against her belly.
Kevin reached behind her, grasping her soft, curvy bottom in his hands and holding her even closer as he continued to rub against her. "Fuck, I have to stop before I cum in my pants," he chuckled. "I have no intention of being the first," he whispered sensually against her mouth. "I made myself a promise," he added, catching her lower lip between his teeth. "I can’t cum until you do. Several times." Lynne’s knees buckled at his words and he laughed, knowing exactly what he was doing to her. "But I seem to have a dilemma."
"Wh- what?" she asked, her voice breaking.
"I can’t decide just how to do this." He paused, pretending to weigh the options. "I don’t know whether I want to take my time and make slow passionate love to you or …"
"What? Or what?" Holy god, this was killing her.
"Or," he chuckled, "whether to strip you naked and just fuck you senseless right here."
"Yes!" she breathed, and Kevin had never heard a sexier sound in his entire life.
"’Yes?’ Baby, you have a choice. Which one?" He smiled as he crept one hand beneath her shirt to cup a silk-covered breast. His thumb found her nipple and brushed lightly back and forth as she indeed began to tremble.
"I have to choose? Christ, Kevin, that’s not fair."
"Oh," he said slowly, "I understand."
"You do?" Thank god.
"I’m guessing that it’s going to be a long," he kissed her ear, "sleepless," he kissed her other ear, "night." He punctuated his last kiss by tweaking her nipple between his thumb and forefinger and twisting gently.
"Kevin please-" she moaned.
"Patience, baby, we’ve got all night," Kevin purred as he ran one long finger beneath the lace at the top of her bra, stopping just short of the pebbled tip.
"No, damnit! Please, Kevin," she begged. "I need you, please? I know it’s crazy, but I’m so afraid that something’s going to happen to interrupt us."
"Sweetheart, don’t. We’re all alone."
"I just …" she stopped, knowing it was ridiculous.
"What, baby?" Kevin pulled back, cupped her face in his hands and looked into her eyes.
"It’s silly, but I keep expecting Nick or Howie to walk in. Or for Sarah to-"
Kevin cringed, and all thoughts of being with Lynne came crashing to a halt. Sarah. The one thing that stood between them, the last remaining secret that could ruin everything had just invaded their long-awaited privacy. He closed his eyes and sighed, and Lynne felt her hopes and dreams begin to crumble.
"Lynne-"
"Kevin, please," Lynne begged, "Don’t stop."
"I – we – Lynne, we have to talk about this."
"No. No we don’t. Kevin I’m sorry, I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to ruin things." Lynne felt her eyes fill and wished she could rewind back to two minutes ago and keep her mouth shut.
"Shh, baby, stop, you didn’t ruin anything," he said, trying to reassure her and hoping like hell he was right. He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her, trying to figure out just how to say what needed to be said.
"It’s about Sarah isn’t it?" Lynne’s voice had a small defeated tone to it and Kevin sent up a silent prayer before answering her.
"Yeah. Yeah, baby, it is." Gotta do this, Kev. "Come sit with me, Lynne. There’s something I need to tell you."
"Kevin, whatever it is-"
"Needs to be said before I can make love to you Lynne, and god knows, I want that more than anything. Please, just hear me out." Gently he reached out to brush his hand against her cheek and when she smiled back at him he had hope that it would all be okay.
"You know that Sarah and I are close friends," he said pausing. "We were once more than friends, Lynne. Sarah and I were lovers."
"Go on," she said quietly, reaching for his hand.
"It was last year."
"When she and Howie were apart?"
"Yes. Well, mostly, but …"
"Kevin, just start at the beginning. Tell me everything."
Kevin began the story, going all the way back to the infamous night at Tabu, and leaving nothing out. His eyes were cast down as his voice finally trailed away, but when he felt Lynne’s fingers squeeze his own, he looked up. Silent tears coursed down her face and he saw what his silence had done to her. "I’m sorry, Lynne. I’m so sorry." He brushed a kiss on her forehead, squeezed her hand and walked into the bedroom, leaving her sitting all alone with her thoughts.
