Part 572
As the five men rose through the stage, the spotlight fell on them and they began to sing. It was amazing to watch them. Despite the fact that this was the last show, the five gave just as much love to their fans as the first show and the fans gave back ten-fold.
Looking around to find Sarah, Howie noticed that the crew on the light and sound boards were wearing masks and he started to laugh. He knew now why Sarah had wanted to be at the small stage. He nudged Brian who was standing beside him and pointed to some of the crew and Brian started to laugh too. Another part of Sarah’s plan was about to unfold.
Getting comfortable and so he could get closer to the fans, AJ took a seat on the edge of the stage as they were singing. He didn’t pay attention to what was going on between the barrier and the stage so he missed Sarah sneaking up beside him. In fact, it wasn’t until he felt his shoes being taken that he realized she was there. There was no mistaking who it was despite the fact that she was wearing a mask and he watched as she filled his shoes with silly string unable to do anything to stop her.
As she placed his shoes back on his feet, AJ started laughing. He pointed to her and mouthed, "I will get you for this."
The next song was ‘How Did I Fall In Love With You’ and as Howie sang, he spotted Kryss in the crowd. Holding up the teddy bear for him to see, Howie motioned for Kryss to toss it up. Hugging it close, he sang to her.
Howie had made her day and as he sang to her, Kryss touched her heart and mouthed ‘I love you’. Howie gave her a wink and a smile as the song ended.
Over his headset, Howie heard Sarah tease him, "You’d better stop flirting."
Howie smiled and turned to find his wife only to be hit with silly string. Looking down, he spotted her holding a can spraying it at him as the others got hit too. It was all out war only the guys didn’t have anything to fight back with…yet. Seeing that they were sufficiently wrapped up, Sarah signaled Raoul to give them their cans and the five started battling each other. The cans were turned on the fans too eliciting squeals of delight.
As the catwalk was lowered into place, Howie looked around for Sarah but couldn’t find her. The closest person to him was Bob, the new security guard. Kneeling down, he motioned the big man over and handed him the teddy bear from Kryss.
"Give this to my wife."
Howie stood and started to follow Kevin across the catwalk and as soon as his back was turned, Bob slung the teddy bear angrily towards the tunnel. "I haven’t got time for this silly ass shit of looking for wives."
Sarah was headed over to talk to Kryss when she saw the horrified look on the blonde’s face. "What’s wrong?"
Tears stung her eyes as Kryss looked at Sarah. "That asshole just slung the teddy bear I gave Howie down there," said Kryss pointing in the direction Bob had thrown it.
"I’ll take care of it. Look, hang around after the show. I’ll send Raoul out to get you and your friends."
"Are you sure?" asked Kryss remembering the last time in Denver.
Sarah saw her reluctance and laughed. "I know, I wasn’t exactly the most friendly person last time."
"Not really…but then again, I guess if I were married to Howie, I’d get a little jealous of a woman coming on to him too…especially when he’s got so many women coming on to him."
"It was more my hormones and the fact that I was tired. I really don’t mind the women. Seriously, when the show’s over, come to the front and I’ll have Raoul meet you."
"That would be awesome. Thank you."
"Catch you after the show. I have a security guard to bless out and one more prank to pull."
"I take it you planned all this?" asked Carly.
"Most of it. Becca’s got her own little surprise for the guys too. Later ladies!!" waved Sarah as she made her way to find Bob and the teddy bear.
