Part 606
Coming out of the bathroom with a bath sheet wrapped around her, Sarah began to look at her dresses that Howie had gotten for her off the bus. She had two that she really liked and she couldn’t make up her mind.
Howie returned from Jesse’s room and closed the door behind him. He spotted his wife staring at her clothes. Shaking his head, he smiled and went to her. He wrapped his arms around her and gave her a kiss on the ear.
“I like the one you wore to the benefit,” he said knowing she was having problems deciding what to wear.
“Really?”
“Well,” hedged Howie. “I REALLY like this because I can do this,” and he slipped the towel off tossing it aside. Pulling her naked body against his chest, he ran his hands over her. “You are so sexy.”
Sarah’s body flushed as his hands touched her. “Oh….How-ieeee….I want you….so much,” she stammered.
“Think about tonight, ‘Angel’,” he urged, lust and desire dripping from the words. “After everyone’s asleep. I can run my hands all over your sexy body and make love to you…slow, hot, passionate love.”
Sarah couldn’t hold back the moan as Howie ran his hand between her thighs. “Do we have to leave this room?”
A knock interrupted the couple and Howie grabbed Sarah’s towel handing it back to her. As she wrapped it around herself, he went to open the door.
“’Princess’! I thought you were playing with your doll house.”
“I was but I wanted to see Mommie,” whined Jesse.
“No need to whine, baby,” said Sarah as she took the dress Howie liked out of the closet. “Hop up on the bed while your daddy and I finish getting ready. Did you do a good job bathing yourself?”
“Daddy helped me.”
“I didn’t know what you wanted her to wear,” said Howie as he buttoned his shirt. “Mami brought a couple dresses for her.”
“Mommie, I brought my Halloween costume too so you and Daddy can see it.”
“What are you going to be, sweetheart?”
“A princess, of course,” said Jesse matter-of-factly.
“’Angel’, you should find your angel costume,” suggested Howie.
Sarah frowned. “I don’t have it. The hospital didn’t give it back to me.”
Realizing what he’d done, Howie put his hands on her shoulders. “I’m sorry, ‘Angel’. I didn’t think.”
“Mommie, are you and Daddy gonna go to a party?”
“No, I’m gonna take YOU Trick or Treating,” smiled Sarah.
“You ARE?” questioned Jesse, her eyes wide.
“Yes, I am,” answered Sarah as she touched Jesse’s nose. “You and I are going Trick or Treating first and then to the Youth Center’s Halloween party.”
“How?”
“You mother is flying home with you Saturday, ‘Princess’.”
“Cool!” beamed Jesse but as she thought about it, her smile faded. “Daddy, aren’t you gonna be able to go with us?”
“I’m going to do EVERYTHING I can to get back and join you at the party but if I don’t, I’ll get to see you in your costume here.”
“But what about Mommie?”
Howie smiled as he flicked his tie at Jesse. “Mommie doesn’t need a costume to be an angel to me.”
“’D’, can you zip this please?” Sarah turned her back to him and shivered as she felt his warm hands on her back. “Okay, sweetheart. Let’s go get you dressed before I finish.”
“Angel, my cuffs.”
“I’ll get them when I come back, ‘D’.”
“Mommie, can I have my hair braided like yours?”
“Sure!”
Twenty minutes later, Sarah returned to finish getting ready and to help Howie. Dressed and ready, the happy couple gathered their daughter and made their way downstairs to meet the guests for the wedding.
