(06.17.02) - Slipknot Takes Off The Masks

Stone Sour, the side project of Slipknot's Corey Taylor and Jim Root, will be shooting a video for their first single "Get Inside" at the Whiskey A Go-Go in West Hollywood, CA on June 26th. The group also plan to lens a clip for a new version of Taylor's track "Bother" in the coming weeks as well. An interesting note about Stone Sour is that both Taylor and Root will be appearing unmasked in the videos and at the bands subsequent live performances. In other news, their forthcoming as of yet untitled Roadrunner/Island/Def Jam debut is due out in stores on September 10th and tentative track titles for it include:

Get Inside, Orchids, Blotter, Choose, Monolith, Inhale, Take A Number, Bother, Inside The Cynic, Cold Reader, Blue Study, Idle Hands, Tumult, Omega

(06.17.02) - The Right To Remain In Hollywood

The Murderdolls, a group which features members of Slipknot and Static-X among others, are said to have set "Right To Remain Violent" as the tentative title to their forthcoming Roadrunner/Island Def Jam debut. The album is expected out in late August while an mp3 of their track "Dead In Hollywood" is set to be posted on their official website, www.murderdolls.com

(06.17.02) - My Plague Single

Slipknot will be releasing a U.K. single for their track My Plague (New Abuse Mix) through Roadrunner on July 08th. The effort shapes up as follows:

01 - "My Plague" (New Abuse Mix)
02 - "The Heretic Anthem" (Live)
03 - "(sic)" (Live)

The disc will also feature the video for the title track while the live material included was captured during a performance that took place at the Hovet in Stockholm, Sweden on January 22nd 2002.
