"WHAT??!! I thought I rid myself of you years ago!" Vegeta shook the house as he roared. "Well...um...actually...it was..." Zarbon's eyes widened. "Don't interrupt me!" The Saiyan king screamed. "Dad! Let him explain!" Lita shrieked like her father. "Make me!" Vegeta dared. "FINE! You'll lose because I am much stronger than you and you know it!" Lita folded her arms. Vegeta cocked his eyebrows while replying, "5 minutes and it better be good or else!" "Well, um...the Zarbon you killed was my father. Frieza killed my mother and didn't kill my father because he knew that you would do his dirty work for him." Zarbon shivered as Vegeta stared at him. "He sent me to his home planet. There I was in slaved. It was a living hell. When I went out in public everyone stared at me and most beat me as I went pass. They enjoyed watching me suffer. At the age of 6, their beatings no longer harmed me. I grew used to it. I started to train at night. At night on his planet, the gravity is much thicker; 40,000 times earth's normal gravity pull. I became much stronger and at the age of 16, I was the strongest being in the universe. I fought back and destroyed all life on that planet. For two years I traveled the galaxy, still the strongest being, until I learned of Lita. I was happy to learn I was second to the Saiyan Princess. I then came to earth and here I am." "But why do I sense Saiyan in you?" Piccolo studied Zarbon. "I can't say now mate. But I will be capable to later." Zarbon looked at Lita. He nodded at her. She gave him a smirk. Vegeta looked at Lita then back at Zarbon. Trunks sat on the couch, shaking his head again. Piccolo put his hand on his shoulder. Trunks looked up at Piccolo. The Namek gave the young Saiyan a concerned look. Trunks faked a smile. Goten gave his pal the "Dude, I'm confused" look. Trunks nodded his head for him not to worry. Vegeta stood there watching the whole thing. The Saiyan King shook his head and took his attention back to Zarbon. "I really don't care if you want to or not. You are going to tell why the blasted Namek senses Saiyan!" Vegeta roared louder than ever. Zarbon was shocked. He had a flash back of his childhood. His eyes widened in surprise. Zarbon closed his eyes and rapidly shook. Vegeta stepped back. Lita walked over to Zarbon. "It's okay. It was just Vegeta, my arrogant father. That planet no longer exists. You're strong and there is nothing to worry about. I" Lita's gentle voice soothed Zarbon. She joked "I'll protected you." He opened his eyes slowly. She gently smiled. He looked at her. He wanted so badly to tell her that he loved her, or kiss her for that matter, but he couldn't with Vegeta staring down his throat. "I'm..I'm sorry. I am a bother, I will leave now." Zarbon went to leave. "No, don't it's okay. We understand. You had a rough childhood. My father did too, as well as Piccolo. You're not a bother. You are one of us." She smiled. "Yeah, kid if you're as strong as Lita then you should stay with us." Krillan smiled. "We wouldn't want you on the opposite side." "Yeah! You can help me find the last black star Dragon Ball, so I can become an adult again!" Little Goku smiled. "Why would he do that? You're easier to control as a child than an adult. Anyways you probably won't find it." Vegeta smirked. "Why do you always have to burst my bubble?" Goku frowned while he screamed his question. "Don't question me, Kakarot! I'll make you happy. Come here." Goku followed Vegeta to the TV. The Saiyan King turned it on to Animal Planet. There was a chimpanzee on a tree branch. "Look Kakarot, It's you." Vegeta smiled. "Cool! " Goku smiled while his Saiyan tail wagged just like the little monkey. "Now this is what is going to happen to you if you ever question me again." Vegeta got his evil grins on his face. Goku watched the little monkey hop around the tree, until out of nowhere a lion jumped through the tree and ate the monkey. Blood spattered everywhere. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!" Goku ran behind Chi-Chi. Vegeta busted into laughter. "Shame on you Vegeta. Scaring poor little deviance-less Goku like that." Chi-chi rubbed Goku's head. Vegeta laughed even harder. "Gees that worked." Goku caught his breath. All of a sudden there was a knock at the door. Goku screamed, "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! It's the lion and it's going to eat me!" He ran into the other room where Goten ran after him and brought him back into the living room. Vegeta held his breath so he wouldn't bust out laughing. "I'll get it." Gohan ran to the door. He opened it to the biggest surprise. It was 17. "Hi. Can 18 come out and play?" "17!" 18 ran to greet her brother. "Hey long time no see. Don't worry I am one of the good guys now. Man you look exactly the same good as ever. I guess Gero was right to create us so we never age." 17 smiled. "I guess he did have some brains left in his deranged head." 18 smiled back. "Yeah I guess." 17 looked the same as always but his hair was a bit longer. "You want to come in?" 18 invited him. "I don't know. This is Vegeta's house." 17 smiled again. The Saiyan king walked to the door. "I don't trust you, Android." "And I don't trust you, Saiyan." 17 mimicked. Vegeta snarled and slammed the door in 17's face and walked away. The door opened again and 17 walked in. "I guess Vegeta stayed the same." 17 smiled until his eyes laid on Lita. His heart raced. "The Supreme Kai informed me about everything but I never knew the Lita he was talking about was so beautiful." 17 walked over to Lita. "So, you're the big bad android, I heard so much about." Lita automatically forgot about Zarbon she grew to like so much. Of course Zarbon wasn't thrilled one bit. "I am not an android anymore. I am human again." 17 sat next to Lita; a bold move with Vegeta standing right next to him. Zarbon thought to himself: 'He's moving in too fast. Vegeta won't let them go out. I am better suited for her then him.' 17 made an even bolder move that shocked Zarbon. "You want to go out later?" 17 smiled. Zarbon couldn't control himself. "No!" He snared. 17's eye's narrowed. "And who are you? Her sectary?" "No. What makes you think she isn't in a relationship?" Zarbon stood up as well as 17. "With whom? You? Don't make me laugh. I can take you down with no problem." 17 snarled. "Yeah, right like I am going to believe that!" Zarbon was so close to punching 17; he felt his hand form a fist. "What? Do you think you have a chance to win against me? Ha! Don't make me laugh. Come on, bring it on!" 17 taunted. "You can take the girl whom I care for more than you can ever and you can mock me but one thing you can't take from me is my dignity." Zarbon was infuriated. "I'll be the big man, I won't fight you. For now, you win. But mock my words, you will regret it." Zarbon started to walk away. "Oooo, I am so scared of girly-boy." 17 again taunted. That was the last straw. Zarbon snapped. He flew towards 17 and started to punch the hell out him. The once android underestimated Zarbon' s power; it took Vegeta, Gohan, Goten, Trunks, Lita, and Piccolo to get him off of the rapidly bleeding 17. "Man, you should keep him caged. He's dangerous!" 17 felt his face covered in blood. Weeks later, Zarbon apologized to 17. Still everything wasn't too cool between them. The three of them were kind-of friends, although Zarbon thought that Lita and 17 were too close for comfort. He thought to himself, 'See stupid, if you would have told them the "secret" then you would have been with Lita now. Oh, well I guess in time.' That day 17 decided to take a walk in the woods. Alone. It was his biggest mistake. He stopped by the little waterfall and admired the beautiful surrounds. He felt another presents behind him. 17 turned to find himself standing in front of him. "What?!" 17 screamed. " You will understand once we fuse," the clone like being snared. "Oh, no I'm not being absorbed again!" 17 started to run but he couldn't. He looked back at the "Clone". He held his hand out to freeze 17 in place. "What are you?!" 17 screamed. "I'm you. Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu created me. I'm Artificial 17." |
