Hirori has earned the title of Martial Arts Master and begins training Trunks, Goten, Bra, and Pan for the compitition. All seems to be going well until Gohan suffers a blow to the head and starts to think about the past of the newer member of the team, Hirori. Once as an enemy of Hirori, Gohan sets a goal to discover the whole story behind this mighty warrior. He married the human, Bulma. While starting a family of Super Saiyans, he continued to train in hopes of someday getting the jump on the commoner, Kakarotto, his sons Gohan and Goten, then regaining his rightful place as the strongest warrior in the universe. He has tried very hard to forget his past and the life he led as Frieza's lackey. The other Z fighters often wondered about the arrogent Saiyan Prince but didn't say anything because they knew they would get snapped at. The ones who really wanted to know more about the Saiyans were his wife and children, his rival and friend Kakarotto, and his two sons. His life would have continued on this way except occassionally events would happen to expose him to blasts from his past. There is action, suspense and tons of surprises in store for both Vegeta and Kakarotto (Goku), plus a bit of mystery and romance as the Saiyan Prince attempts to deal with his problems without digging himself into a deeper hole than he can get out of. When we meet her, she is living on planet Egimari as a slave to the Triumvirate of Egimari, a ruling body of three brothers, one of whom tried to rape her just before the story began. At the beginning of this story, Chestra is sentenced to a death match for attacking her assailant, and the next day, she is forced to fight a deadly dragon who has been set upon her in an arena to destroy her. Frieza is one of the Triumvirate's guests at Chestra's death match, and he takes an interest in her because of her fighting skills. He insists on the Triumvirate sparing Chestra's life after she wins her match and selling her to him. He then assigns Zarbon to train her to become one of his soldiers, and Zarbon and Chestra quickly become attracted to each other. Unfortunately, there is a rule forbidding sexual or romantic relationships between trainers and recruits, and Chestra and Zarbon must hold back on their blossoming feelings for each other. Also, Chestra makes a friend in Jaden, a rough, hardened female alligator woman with two tails who is one of Frieza's reluctant Top Elite officers. Jaden has led a hard life thanks to her cruel deceased trainer, Sagash, and her colleagues, Dodoria and Balair, a T-Rex-like warrior who can vaporize and liquefy himself. Because she and Chestra share some similar experiences, they become close friends. But not all is rosy for Chestra (as it could really be completely happy under Frieza!), for there is Diamonique, another recruit, who wants Zarbon for herself and will do anything to destroy Chestra, whom she looks down on, in order to have him. Also, Captain Ginyu and Balair each decide that he wants Chestra for himself, and they make a bet as to who will get in bed first. And unfortunately, Frieza and King Cold eventually join the ranks of her admirers. In fact, once Frieza realizes that he wants Chestra for himself, he will do anything to get her for himself, even if it means forcing himself on her and destroying Zarbon to do so. Do Zarbon and Chestra stand a chance, and will they ever act on their feelings? Can they stand up to Frieza and Chestra's other suitors in order to be together? And can Chestra avoid Diamonique's deadly traps in order to survive and be with the man she loves? And will we learn anything of Chestra's past, or who she is? The answers may surprise you. This is going to be about the past of the emerald green-haired henchman and why he came to serve Frieza. The name Narcissian is something I made up, it comes from the word “narcissistic” which is another word for vain. The entire race of Narcissians are EXTREMELY vain, just like Zarbon. But they’re not fighters, and don’t have advanced technology. They’re about the level of the human race at the moment. This all happens just before the Saiyans are recruited as part of Frieza’s team. Please, if I have any important facts wrong, tell me so, but don’t unless you are SURE of yourself. There’s nothing I hate more than people who tell you you’re wrong when in fact it’s them who have it wrong. (Except maybe flamers. And that annoying announcer guy on the Funimation dub. And also ignorant subbies who tell the dubbies things like “Saiyan” instead of “Saiya-jin” are wrong, which is unfair… oh, I could go on for ages, so I’ll shut up now.) Disclaimer: I don't own DBZ.
