He found her sitting alone on a rocky mountain top. The starlight shone brilliantly on her slender body, and Zarbon could se her clearly. Her dark blue battlesuit hugged her body tightly, showing every curve. Only her face and firm stomach were visible from the dark cloth. Her brilliant white gloves clung to her slender wrists, as did her boots to her ankles. Black spiked hair flowed in the breeze like restless waves in an ocean. She sat there silently in deep thought; completely turned off from the world around her. Elbow rested on knee, head rested on hand. After watching her for several moments Zarbon decided to go speak to the mighty Saiyan princess that he had been in love with for so long. “Kyley?” He said softly. She remained there silently and said nothing. “Kyley?!” Louder this time. She jumped, clearly startled, and looked at him. Delicate but strong features, pale blue complexion, and long dark green hair pulled back into a braid. He wore his usual outfit, although it was quite battered from his last fight with her brother Vegeta, but it showed his clean cut, rock hard muscles well. After moments of sitting at the handsome warrior she motioned for him to come and sit by her side. “So what are you doing up here all by yourself?” He asked after taking at seat on the jagged mountain ledge. “Thinking.” She replied blandly. “About what?” “Today.” She pulled her knees to her chest, and wrapped her arms tightly around them. “I’ve found out so much about myself in just one day. Memories are just flooding back into my head. Things I’ve always wanted to know, to remember. Everything is so clear now, but confusing.” She sighed. “In just one day I’ve found out where I’m from; what happened to me and my home planet. I’ve found my only family member, and the one I love. I-“ She suddenly stopped, realizing that she had said too much. His clear golden eyes widened considerably. “What did you say?!” She smiled weakly, and tucked a stray strand of raven hair behind her ear. “I just said that I found out so much about myself in just one day that it confuses me.” “No!” He said sharply, “after all that.” “Oh that,” she gulped. “Don’t worry, It wasn’t anything important.” “You think so?” He asked. She looked down at her white clad feet, and remained silent. He continued, “well it seems pretty important to me.” She looked up at him with confusion in her dark eyes. “After all,” he smiled slyly, “I feel the same way about you.” “Honto?!” She asked. “You love me too?!” “Hai.” He responded looking her straight in the eyes; gold piercing deep black. “I’ve loved you since we were children. I didn’t realize it then, but I did. I think it took me seeing you hurt like that to finally realize it.” He kissed her; first on the forehead, then on the lips; gently, sweetly. He then wrapped his muscular arms around her and hugged her tightly. She hugged him back, and rested her head on his shoulder. “You know,” she whispered, “this is so un-Saiyan.” He only chuckled, and held her tighter as a new day dawned. |
