Freiza was born somewhere in outer space. He is the leader of the planet trade. He destroyed Planet Vegeta, the saiyan home world, killing most of the saiyans, because he was afraid a Super Saiyan would emerge and kill him. He is very strong. He was defeated by Goku. Then his body was rebuilt, he was mostly machine, when Trunks killed him.
