Raditz was born on Planet Vegeta. He is Goku's older brother. He is a saiyan. Raditz, the first villain, came to Earth to see why Goku hadn't killed everyone. He found out that Goku hit his head and forgot his mssion. Raditz kidnapped his son, Gohan, and told him to kill 100 people to get him back. Goku teamed up with Piccolo and went to fight Raditz. Goku grabbed Raditz and told Piccolo to attack. Piccolo hesitated knowing Goku was making the ultimate sacrifice, then fired a Special Beam Canon and killed both Goku and Raditz.
