Wishnik’s Farewell

Starts with Vegeta and the Ambassador

The Ambassador: Come on now! Don’t be scared! I know the thought that all your
attacks are now mine is shocking at first, but if you don’t get over it soon, I’ll be forced
to finish you off. By the way, any particular one of your attacks you’d like to die by?
Well, how about this one? YAH!! (begins throwing ki blasts wildly)
Vegeta: (finds his feet and dodges the familiar pattern of blasts; the attacks colide with a
hillside, leveling it) Awww, you missed. Don’t cry now. I’ll show you how its done. 
The Ambassador: Could you wait a moment? (takes off his outer robe; is wearing a sort
of armor underneath; tosses robe aside) I suppose I can play with you until Lord Zucc
arrives.
Vegeta: You can call whatever friends you want; it won’t save you; you may have my
attacks, but what if I don’t use attacks? 
(Vegeta throws a ki blast to the side; as he anticipated, The Ambassador’s eyes follow it,
leaving him distracted; Vegeta runs at him and begins hitting him with kicks and
punches; to his shock, The Ambassador blocks all of his attacks, without even bothering
to look at him; he kicks Vegeta back)
The Ambassador: Did I mention I know what your fighting techniques also? Through the
absortion of your attacks, I know exactly what moves it is in character for you to do. I can
practically read your mind! Are you ready to surrender yet? (Vegeta is shocked; doesn’t
respond; then a faint moan calls The Ambassador’s attention to a few feet away)
WISHNIK, IS THAT YOU? SO YOU’RE ALIVE? SUPERB! THAT MEANS I WON’T
HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE ORDEAL OF REPLACING YOU!
Wishnik: (manages to stand) You’re a horrible creature, Ambassador. I don’t know why I
never saw it before!
The Ambassador: Flattery will get you nowhere Wishnik. You’re still to be punished
when Lord Zucc arrives---(as if on cue, the three can suddenly sense a power level; it is
huge) 
Wishnik: No....I won’t watch another planet be destroyed! 
The Ambassador: Wishnik, I don’t know what’s come over you, but stop it or I shall be
forced to finish you off.
Wishnik: (continues speaking) Someday Ambassador, someone will come with the power
to stop you.
The Ambassador: IS THAT A THREAT, BOY?
Wishnik: Someday Lord Zucc will fall, and somewhere I will watch and I will laugh, sir!
I look forward to the day when he gets what he has earned! 
Vegeta: (as the two aliens continue talking, Vegeta thinks) "That creature already said
when I defeated him he didn’t have the power for another attack. So why is he up? And
what is he trying to accomplish? Wait, as long as he’s talking, The Ambassador can’t be
thinking about my attacks! This is my chance, but I must act now!" (runs at the
Ambassador and manages to get in several kicks and punches; before The Ambassador
knows what hit him, he is knocked down) 
The Ambassador: WISHNIK, THIS IS YOUR DOING! (forms an unusual ki blast in his
hand and throws it at him) YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE INTERFERED!
(Wishnik makes an attempt to dodge, but knows he isn’t fast enough; the attack throws
him several meters, knocks him off a cliffside, and he ends up far away from the
battlefield. He is out of site and out of mind.)
The Ambassador: That’s taken care of. Shall we continue?
Vegeta: (chuckles) But of course.

(cut to Tazo, searching for the dragonballs)

Tazo: (thinking) "This seems like such a lowly task for a soldier of my rank. How hard
could it be to find 6 more dragonballs?" (has set his disk to track the dragonballs instead
of power levels) There’s one already! Child’s play. That’s what this is.
(lands in a small town; two girls are walking down a deserted highway; One has dark hair
with a scarf in it; The other has dark hair with four braids; She is much smaller than the
first)
Girl One: See Lunch? I told you no one would be on this street at this time of day! 
Lunch (the second girl): You were right Tim chan! I’m going to save so much time going
for groceries this way! I should take you with me more often! I hate making you carry my
bags though--
Tim: (carrying the bag of groceries) Think nothing of it! I’m just a gentleman, if you
leave the man part out. (the two laugh) Oh, and by the way, for future reference, I’m
always right.
(Lunch has her hands behind her head, fixing her scarf as she walks; happens to look up
and lets out a scream as Tazo is flying low, just a few meters over her head at a quick
steady pace)
Lunch: What is that thing? And why does he have a dragonball?
Tim: Dunno, but I bet any money he wants mine too, and he’s not getting it! (sets her grocery 
bag down and jumps on a nearby car and using it as a spring board jumps up and, 
after a brief struggle, snatches the two star dragonball from Tazo’s hand)
Tim: Yoink! (drops back to the ground and runs)
Tazo: CRAZY WOMAN! Give that back! 
Tim: Thanks for the present!
Lunch: Tim, what are you doing?!? You can’t beat him! This isn’t the qualifying
rounds for The World Martial Arts Tournament! You’re going to make him mad!
Tazo: Mad?! (landing a few feet away) That’s an understatement if I ever heard one!! 
Tim: (forgot about Lunch; yells) Lunch, come on! We have to run now!
Tazo: I don’t think so! (grabs Lunch by her arm and holds her) She’s not going anywhere!
Now give me back my dragonball and surrender or the lady gets it!
Lunch: (screams again) SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP US!!!!
Tazo: Now hold still girly! (charges up a ki blast in his free hand and aims it at Tim)
Tim: (stands where she is, not wishing Lunch to be harmed; thinking) "Darn, I knew I
should’ve waited until Lunch was safe. But then he might have gotten away with the
dragonballs! If only I could get closer---" (Lunch screams yet again interrupting Tim’s
thoughts)

(Android 17, flying nearby, hears Lunch’s screams of terror)

Android 17: (thinking) "Sounds like somebody’s TV’s up too loud. (hears another
scream) Or maybe there’s some kind of concert going on over there---" (sees an
explosion) Look at that, must be another alien. Might as well drop in. (flies in Lunch and
Tim’s direction)

Back with Lunch, Tim, and Tazo

Lunch: (screams) 
Tim: (narrowly missed being pegged with a strange sort of ki blast)
Tazo: Hold still or I off your friend! I’m not bluffing! And drop the dragonball!!
(Android 17 lands nearby; Tim spots him)
Tim: (yells over to 17) Hey, you, the cutie with the perfect hair, CATCH! (throws him the
dragonball)
Android 17: (catches it instinctively) Huh? What’s this?
Tazo: GIVE THAT BACK NOW!! (throws Lunch aside and rushes towards Tim and
Android 17)
Lunch: (hits the ground with a thud kicking up some dust; she sneezes) Ah-choo! (her
hair turns from black to blond and she suddenly looks angry; grabs Tazo by the back of
his armor) IDIOT! HOW DARE YOU KNOCK ME OVER?? (punches him several
times) STUPID! JERK! LOSER! (Tazo blocks her punches skillfully but one of them hits
his disk, cracking it severely; colored light goes flying out of it)
Lunch: Huh? What the heck is that?

Cut to Master Roshi’s House

(Chi Chi wakes up)
Puar: Everyone come quick!!!
Bulma: Chi Chi, you’re alive!! 
Trunks: Chee-Chee!
Chi Chi: (picks up baby Trunks) Awww! He almost said my name! (feels her baby
kicking inside her again) 
Choatzu: We’re so glad you’re all right Chi Chi! You scared us!
Chi Chi: Well, there was never anything to be worried about. (talking to baby Trunks)
You want to be a great scholar, just like my Gohan, don’t you?
Trunks: NO!
Bulma: Oh my gosh! His first word! My baby is growing up! (picks up baby Trunks as
they have a mini celebration) 

Cut back to Tazo

(Tazo manages to make it stabilize the disk, but almost all energy he stole with it was lost
in those few moments)
Tazo: LOOK WHAT YOU’VE DONE!! I DON’T HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY ON
THIS PLANET TO FIX THAT YOU KNOW!! YOU’RE ALL DEAD!!! (forms an attack
in his hands and prepares to throw it)
(While Tazo is distracted by Lunch, Tim kicks Tazo in the back of the head, knocking
him forward on top of the ki blast that he just formed. The resulting explosion causes a
crater in the ground and sends Lunch flying. She lands a few feet away from Tim)
Lunch: Ah-choo! (turns back to her normal self)
Tim: Bless you dear. 
Lunch: What’s going on? I didn’t do anything bothersome, did I?
Tim: Nope! Nothing at all! Now we’d better get back to the bar before your frozen food
melts. (picks up grocery bag)
Android 17: (kind of baffled that two women just took out an alien; gets over the shock
and realizes he still has a dragonball) Hey, you two want this? (holds it up)
Tim: Whoops! I kinda forgot about that. (gets an evil little smile) Hey, how far can you
throw?
Android 17: Why does that matter?
Tim: This guy’s a trouble maker. Throw his dragonball as far as you can. He should have
a good old time refinding it.
Android 17: Not a bad idea. (throws the dragonball; it goes flying and lands in the
distance)
Tim: Cool. You throw good. Betcha he’ll never see it again. So where are you headed?
Android 17: No where really.
Tim: Come with us then. Lunch here needs a new boyfriend.
Lunch: (blushes) Oh I do not!
Tim: That three-eyed boy you isn’t coming back you know.
Lunch: I can dream, can’t I?
Android 17: Hey, I know a three-eyed freak. Was your boyfriend named Tien?
Lunch: (suddenly tears in her eyes) How dare you call him a freak? He died a long time
ago! 
Android 17: Huh? Then maybe we’re talking about different guys.
Lunch: (wiping tears from her eyes) W-what do you mean?
Android 17: The Tien I know is alive and well.
Tim: (grabs 17’s arm and drags him along with them) Tell us about it.

Cut to Piccolo flying; he is ahead of the other Z fighters on their way to the fight

Piccolo: (yells back to the others) I sense a power level, and its falling fast! I don’t
recognize it, so I’m going to check it out. You guys keep going.
Gohan: But Piccolo---
Piccolo: Don’t argue! Vegeta could need help! The power level’s too low to be a threat
anyway. This shouldn’t take long.
(The others continue on their way to the fight; Piccolo lands; it isn’t long before he spots
Wishnik)
Piccolo: (looks down at Wishnik; thinks) "That power level I sensed was so low! He has
to be dead by now! He never had a chance!" Goodbye my friend. (starts to leave)
Wishnik: P-Piccolo.....
Piccolo: (turns around and kneels next to Wishnik) Wishnik, don’t die. I’m going to catch
up with Tien. He has senzu beans. They restore energy. You can--
Wishnik: P-P-Piccolo! Listen! He’s coming!
Piccolo: What? Who’s coming?
Wishnik: Lord Zucc. If his ship lands, your planet is doomed! I won’t watch it happen!
Piccolo: Wishnik, I--
Wishnik: No talking. Listen! (voice beginning to weaken) Lord Zucc’s ship has a
break....in the shielding...He wanted a larger window then safety would allow...couldn’t
talk him out of it....had to...
Piccolo: I’ll hear you’re story when I get back. We need to get you healed up--
Wishnik: No Piccolo. Let me be.....There’s nothing for me here....I’m not afraid to
die....living will always be more frightening......the window, Piccolo....a precise attack
below it....you can blow up the ship....he’ll never survive it.....
Piccolo: But its just a ship explosion. It can’t be big enough to kill him--
Wishnik: It can, and it is! Its more like a star going nova than an explosion. If the ships
not far enough away....it could damage the planet....but if it lands, that won’t matter!
Please! The window! (struggling for air) Attack the window! (still struggling) Hit it with
as much energy as you can!! (gasping)
Piccolo: After this is over, my friends and I can wish you back with the dragonballs if you
want.
Wishnik: No. Let me be. (smiles weakly) I’ve found my peace......(is dead)
Piccolo: Wishnik....I will make sure your death wasn’t in vain....(suddenly a shadow is
cast on Piccolo, still kneeling by Wishnik’s corpse; he begins thinking) "That must be
Lord Zucc’s ship! Its huge! No wonder the explosion would be as big as Wishnik said. I
can sense Lord Zucc’s power level too. Wishnik was right; if it lands, we’re finished!"
(speaks with Gohan telepathicly) Gohan, you and Tien get back here! Change of plans!

Cut to Gohan

Gohan: Right! Tien, come on! Piccolo needs us! (the two fly back to meet Piccolo)

Announcer: What is this? A glimmer of hope found in the least likely of places; with one
of the aliens? Could Wishnik’s final design be Lord Zucc’s undoing? Or are our heroes
grasping at short straws? And what of Vegeta? Stay tuned for scenes from the next
exciting episode of Dragonball Z!
