One of the earliest
mobile suits manufactured by OZ, the OZ-07MS Tragos was designed
primarily as a heavy fire support unit. This squat and heavily-armored
mobile suit can be outfitted with an optional hovercraft system,
giving it superb ground mobility in deserts and other level terrain.
If necessary, the hover system could be ejected, allowing the
Tragos to walk on its legs like a normal mobile suit.
In addition to various
hand-held weapons, the Tragos can be equipped with a pair of shoulder-mounted
cannons for long-range bombardment. These "horns" are
rather appropriate for a mobile suit whose name means "goat"
in Greek. The Tragos is also the only OZ-produced mobile suit
not named after a sign of the Zodiac - "tragos" means
"goat" in Greek, though it could be considered a substitute
for the tenth Zodiac sign of Capricorn, meaning "sea-goat".
