When
White Fang secured control of the base, they found the plans and
parts for the improved-model Virgo. White Fang finished assembly
of this new line of mobile doll with the parts available, giving
it their own model number and naming it WF-02MD Virgo II. he Virgo
II is improved in every respect, with twice as many planet defensors
and a set of shoulder-mounted boosters similar to those of the
Tallgeese. In addition to the standard beam rifle or beam cannon,
it also carries a beam saber in each shoulder shield - the first
mobile doll to do so.
In addition,
thanks to its stronger defensive barrier and higher mobility,
the Virgo II proves to be a challenging opponent even for the
Gundams. As White Fang continues to upgrade its mobile dolls'
software, ultimately adapting the Zero System to allow a single
human operator to coordinate an entire army of Virgo IIs, the
Gundam pilots are finally forced to fight as a team instead of
battling alone.
