Vegeta then returned to the planet Frieza to heal his wounds. Whenever a Saiyen recovers from fatal wounds they come back twice as strong. So when Vegeta awoke. He realized that there were another pair of Dragon Balls on a planet called Namek. He then went there to destroy Frieza, make his wish for immortality and go back to earth to destroy Goku.
However, his plans did not come to be. Gohan, Krillin and Bulma also came to Namek in a Space ship that they found on earth and they were also looking for the Dragon Balls of Namek. Vegeta then let them get the Dragon Balls for him but Freiza killed him. Goku then came to Namek and destroyed Freiza. While on earth, they wished back everyone that had been killed at the hands of Freiza and Vegeta got wished back to earth. The Dragon Balls were back, but Vegeta had cooled his attitude and didn't want to look for the Dragon Balls anymore.
He is now a legendary Super Saiyen like Goku and is getting his butt kicked by the androids. But he will destroy them eventually.
To me Vegeta is now one of the coolest DBZ characters of all time!
