Race: Human Eye Color: Purple Hair Color: Purple Abilities: Engineer, "Phee Phee" Weapons: Inteligence Series: DB, DBZ, DBGT Bulma is the second character (after Goku) to be introduced into the Dragon Ball series. She hits Goku (and the fish he was carrying) while driving through the woods, searching for the mystical "Dragonballs." She eventually persuades Goku to come along with her, and thought that he would make a good bodyguard. Bulma has blue hair, and is the mother of Trunks. She is a genius with all sorts of electronics, alien and domestic. |

Race: Human Eye Color: Black Hair Color: Black Abilities: Can control the most powerful men in the universe :) Weapons: being annoying Series: DB, DBZ, DBGT Chi-Chi is mother to Gohan and Goten and the spouse of Goku. She feels very strongly about Gohan's studies and will stop at nothing to get him to continue his work. Chi-Chi's father is the Ox-King. She mainly spends her time worrying about Gohan's academics. Chi-Chi is very uptight, but she makes a good story, and a good "Mom". |

Race: Half Saiyajin, Half Human Eye Color: Black Hair Color: Black, Gold Abilities: Fly, Kame Hame Ha, Masenko, Oozaruu, Renzoku Energy Dan, SSJ, SSJ2 Weapons: Zet Sword, Fists Series: DBZ, DBGT Son of Goku, he is trained by Piccolo to use his many hidden powers. He looks up to Piccolo for being such a great fighter, and is always trying to immitate him. Although he has the potential to become the most powerful being in the universe, he can be beaten because he cannot fully utilize his strength yet. Unlike Goku, his tail was never surgically removed, so he is still capable of turning into a Saiyajin under the light of a full moon. |

Race: Saiyajin Eye Color: Black Hair Color: Black, Gold Abilities: Fly, Dragon Fist, Fusion, Genki-Dama (Spirit Bomb), Jan-Ken Punch, Kaioken (1-20), Kame Hame Ha(1-5 in GT), Kiaiho, Oozaruu, Renzoku Energy Dan, Shunkanido, SSJ, SSJ2, SSJ3, SSJ4, Solar Flare, Instant-transmition Weapons: Power-pole, Flying Nimbus, Fists Series: DB, DBZ, DBGT A Saiyajin from the planet Vegeta, he is sent to Earth as an infant so he can prepare it to be sold. Like all Saiyajins, he has the ability to change into a huge gorilla-like beast when there is a full moon. However, when he was young his tail is surgically removed, and he is no longer able to change into the demonic creature. He could have easily eliminated all life on Earth, but he hit his head when he was young and forgot his mission. He now fights for the side of good, as the brainwashing had now been cured. Goku married Chi-Chi, daughter of Ox king; and together they had two sons, Gohan and Goten. Goku has by far the most KI moves in the entire series besides Cell. |

Race: Half Saiyajin, Half Human Eye Color: Black Hair Color: Black, Gold Abilities: Fly, Fusion, Kame Hame Ha, SSJ, Teleport Weapons: Fists Series: DBZ, DBGT Goten is the second son of Goku and Chi-Chi. He and Trunks spend most of their time together, and are very good friends. Goten exhibited high power when he went Super Saiyajin at the age of seven. He bears a very strong resemblance of Goku. Goten has the same hair that Goku has, he also wears a miniture version of Goku's karate Gi. Goten is usually happy, but has a specialty for throwing tantrums to get something he wants. |

Race: Namek Eye Color: Black Hair Color: None Abilities: Barrier, Fly, Create Dragonballs, Mafuba, Merging, Mystic Attack Weapons: Staff Series: DB, DBZ Sent to planet Earth when his homeworld Namek was about to be hit by a comet, Kami-Sama created the Dragonballs on the planet. Kami is a genius and posesses great and mystical power. He wanted to be pure good and so he purged his evil and 'impure' side. Unfortunately, when this happened, his bad side became a new form, named Piccolo-Daimao. They have a spiritual link, so if one of the two dies, both of them die. As the guardian of Earth and creator of the Dragonballs on Earth, Kami plays a key role in the story. |

Race: Human Eye Color: Black Hair Color: Black (Shaved) Abilities: Fly, Double Tsuihikidan, Fusenko, Fusion, Kakusandan, Kame Hame Ha, Distructo Disc, Shishin No Ken, Solar Flare Weapons: Fists Series: DB, DBZ, DBGT Kuririn is the second most powerful human on Earth (after Yamcha), although his power is still dwarfed by Goku and Gohan. He was once Goku's rival when they were young, but they later became best friends. He is a Buddhist monk, and shaves his head by choice. (He does grow some hair later in the series though) Kuririn is willing to sacrifice his life for Earth, and whenever possible he is at Goku's side. |

Race: Genie Eye Color: Black Hair Color: Unknown Abilities: Flying Carpet Weapons: None Series: DB, DBZ, DBGT Mr. Popo is Kami's best friend and assistant. Although he does not look like much, he is a powerful fighter. He wears a white turban with an oval shaped gem in the center, and travels sometimes by means of flying carpet or teleportation. Mr. Popo does not look very much like a human, more like an inflatable balloon in the shape of a human, but in some ways he looks like Tatoo from Fantasy Island. :) |

Race: Pig Eye Color: Black Hair Color: None Abilities: Shape-shifting, finding panties Weapons: None Series: DB, DBZ, DBGT Though Oolong may change into any form he wishes, he can't really fight in any form. He doesn't aquire any special skills into what he's transforming into, and he can't stay tranformed for more than five minutes. In a fight Oolong is more of a spectator than help, he is considered a coward. He's also a quite a pervert, always trying to get a peek at a woman, especially Bulma. |

Race: Human Eye Color: Black Hair Color: Black Abilities: None Weapons: None Series: DB, DBZ, DBGT The Ox-King appears here and there throughout the series. His first appearance is back in Dragonball. Ox-King knows Roshi because he trains with Gohan (Goku's Foster Grandfather) when he is still a pupil of his. He says that they always competing with each other. Ox-King occasionally pops up during the series but not that much. Usually we'll see him getting verbally abused by his own daughter. |

Race: Three Quarters Human, One Quarter Saiyajin Eye Color: Brown Hair Color: Black Abilities: Fly, Kame Hame Ha, Teleport Weapons: Fists Series: DBZ, DBGT Pan, also known as Pan-Chan, is Goku's granddaughter. She is the most powerful female in all of Dragonball. Pan makes her first appearance in the first episode of Dragonball GT, she is about 11 or so. Pan is 1/4 Sayain, and she is Gohan and Videl's daughter. Pan gets her name, Pan- Chan, because "chan" in Japanese means "cute", as in young. She does not seem to resent the name. Pan also refuses to refer to Trunks as Trunks- san ("san" is a Japanese suffix of respect for elders). Pan is also very adventurous, and can get into trouble, usually with Trunks and Goten. Goten, Trunks, and Pan go everywhere together, she is almost like the little sister they never had. |

Race: Namek Eye Color: Black Hair Color: None Abilities: Fly, Chonoryoku, Energy Dan, Eye Lazers, Kakusanyudokodan, Kyodaika, Makankosappo, Regeneration, Renzoku Energy Dan, Merging, Shogekiha, Tsuihidan, Teleport Weapons: Fists Series: DB, DBZ, DBGT The Piccolo in the DBZ series is the sole offspring of Piccolo-Daimao from the original. Like his father, his intentions are evil. However, when a greater evil, Raditz, threatens the Earth, he turns to the side of good and helps Goku. He later trains Gohan, and the kid becomes the only person that Piccolo cares for. Capable of regenerating body parts and manipulating his size and shape, Piccolo is a formidable fighter. |

Race: Human Eye Color: Black Hair Color: Black (Shaved) Abilities: Fly, Dodonpa, Kame Hame Ha, Kiai, Kikoho, Mafuba, Shiyoken, Solar Flare Weapons: Fists Series: DB, DBZ, DBGT Tenshinhan, also known as Tien, is the strongest human warrior. He is about Goku's height and pretty muscular. Tien also has three eyes, two normal eyes, and then one stranger looking eye on the top of his head. Tien is good friends with Chao-Zu, and is his bodyguard. He is the developer of the technique known as the Solar Flare (a fantasically bright like that is formed by fanning one's hands across their face). The "three-eyed man", even though he is not shown often, still plays a decent roll in Dragonball. |

Race: Half Saiyajin, Half Human Eye Color: Purple Hair Color: Purple, Greenish Gold Abilities: Fly, Burning Attack, Fusion, Kame Hame Ha, SSJ, USSJ, Teleport Weapons: (future)Zet Sword, Fists Series: DBZ, DBGT Trunks is the first child of Vegeta and Bulma. There are two Trunks in the DB universe. "Future Trunks" comes from a parallel universe 14 years in the future where evil androids rule the Earth (talked more about in the Trunks Story section). He goes back in time after the death of Freeza to prepare the Z warriors for the androids' arrival. So as not to prevent his own birth, he tells no one of his heritage, except Goku. "Chibi Trunks" is born after Future Trunks returns to his own time. He likes to hang out with Goten and they are very good friends. When he and Goten are together, Trunks has a tendency to get them in trouble. Trunks is also sad that he does not have a brother like Goten does (Gohan). Trunks has purple hair and displays extreme levels of power, Trunks reached Super Saiyajin when he was eight. Despite Trunks' ability to get Goten and himself in trouble, he means well. |

Race: Saiyajin Eye Color: Black Hair Color: Black, Gold Abilities: Big Bang Attack, Fly, Fusion, Galick-Ho, Kienzan, Were Monkey, SSJ, USSJ, SSJ2, SSJ4, Teleport Weapons: Fists Series: DBZ, DBGT Born on the planet bearing his own name, Vegeta has the bloodline to become a super-elite Saiyajin. A henchman of Freeza, he is regarded as one of the greatest fighters in the universe. Along with Goku, Radditz, and Nappa, Vegeta is one of the only Saiyajins to survive the destruction of their homeworld. He is extremely jealous of Goku's superior fighting ability, and actually helps him from time to time so that he still has someone to compete with. Vegeta craves nothing more then ultimate power. |

Race: Human Eye Color: Blue Hair Color: Black Abilities: Fly Weapons: Fists Series: DBZ, DBGT Videl is Gohan's girlfriend and assistant and is also in the same high school (Orange Star High) class as Gohan. Gohan taught Videl how to fly and fight, but she cannot manipulate energy. Chi-Chi wants Videl to marry her son, and does not hide her intentions. Videl and Gohan eventually marry, and have a baby girl named Pan. |

Race: Human Eye Color: Black Hair Color: Black Abilities: Fly, Kame Hame Ha, Rogafufuken, Sokidan Weapons: Fists Series: DB, DBZ, DBGT Yamcha is first introduced as a desert bandit that robs people as they pass through his wasteland. When he comes upon Goku and friends, he finds out about the Dragonballs and tags along so he can make a wish. (He gets very nervous around girls) However, he gets used to Bulma on their journeys, and loses his fear of women. He and Bulma are together for most of DB and half of DBZ. Yamcha does not train much after the encounter with the Saiyajins, yet he remains capable fighter. |
