(Note: When I wrote these parts, I hadn't seen the shows corresponding to this section of my story yet. Now that I've seen them, this part of my story will be better explained in my parallel - "Tsuki's Story."(New note: no, they aren't explained much at all, I'm too lazy to write the parts corresponding to the episodes.) As for now, I've deleted them. During this time, the Ginyu Force comes, they beat up some people, one of the Ginyu Force is killed. The mighty earth saiya-jin, Goku/Kakarotto, then comes to save the day, healing all those injured, including Vegeta and Zarbon, with the magical senzu beans - one bean heals all wounds and brings strength back up 100%. After Goku defeats the Ginyu with his new increased power, he battles Frieza himself.
A LOT of stuff happens here - all those who were killed by Frieza are brought back to life and everyone but Frieza and Goku are wished back to earth. Namek was destroyed - Goku and Frieza along with it. This is more or less my story now - if you don't like it: watch the TV show. Our characters are now on earth.)
When Nashi woke up she was lying on the ground on her back. She turned her head and saw Vegeta sitting next to her, leaning against a tree. He looked at her and put his hand on her head. "Go back to sleep, kid. You probably don't want to wake up yet."
"Namek's gone, isn't it?"
Vegeta chuckled. "Go back to sleep," he repeated.
When Nashi woke again she was in Zarbon's arms. She stretched and sat up. She fixed her silver necklace which had been turned around when she slept. For the first time, Zarbon saw what it was. He reached down and took the pendant in his hand. It looked like a strangely cut tear, or even a heart that had been cut and was missing its other half.
"Huh, I wonder what this is for," Zarbon wondered. Nashi, still feeling the effects of sleep, took it from his hand. She held and looked at it.
"I never knew what it was for. I've had it for as long as I can remember so I kept it hidden so that it wouldn't be taken from me," she explained. Piccolo, the warrior namek, glanced over. He walked to where Zarbon and Nashi were sitting and took the pendant in his hand.
"Where did you get this?" he asked.
"I don't know: maybe my parents, I've had it that long."
Piccolo offered his thoughts. "I think I've seen this symbol before." He paused. "I think it literally means 'Betrothed to thy Lord.'"
"Hmm?" Nashi asked. Zarbon listened attentively.
"It means you're doomed to marry the prince of your people." Piccolo explained. Zarbon and Nashi sat, shocked.
"Oh, great," grumbled Vegeta, standing by a tree.
Piccolo turned. "What's 'great?'"
Vegeta nodded his head towards Zarbon. "Our blue-boy over there is the Kobitian prince."
It's so quiet in outer space. So cold...
Nashi looked out into the nighttime sky. He destroyed all those people - with our help.
"Are you all right?" Zarbon walked up to her.
"Yeah, just thinking."
Zarbon looked at Nashi's expression. He knew what she was thinking about. "That's it," he said.
"Nani?"
He explained. "Soon as we can, we're going to find a planet and start again. We're going to find the remaining Kobitians and start a new life." He paused and looked over to where Piccolo sat meditating. He looked back to the sky. "Nameks, too. We'll live together." Piccolo looked up. Zarbon turned to Piccolo. "What do you say, Piccolo? Want to help us out?"
Piccolo said nothing: then nodded. "Let's do it."
(A few months have passed. The Nameks and Kobitians were living peacefully on their new home, Komek. The land looked much like Namek did, with numerous waterways and the pale green sky. Trees and small villages dotted the land. Like on Namek, large cities were avoided. Zarbon and Nashi were wed, becoming the king and queen of their people along with the nameks who admired their rule. They lived in an elaborate palace at what was the capitol - also named Komek.)
"Oof!"
Zarbon landed on his side, tumbled a few times, then came to a rest on his stomach.
"You still underestimate me after all this time, Zarbon."
Zarbon looked up to see a mint-colored hand. He took it and allowed himself to be pulled up.
"Yeah, yeah..." he muttered. He looked at his queen: one of many of his race. She wore a small, black top that tied behind her neck and back and exposed her firm, sky-blue waist. She had on a small, bikini bottom with a long, black, translucent skirt that tied at her left hip, often exposing her left leg. Silver jewelry adorned her arm, forehead, and neck. One piece of jewelry stood out: a chain that bore a strangely cut pendant, almost like that of a heart that was missing its other half. Her long, emerald hair flowed over her shoulders. Piercing sapphire eyes gazed out from under her long bangs. Zarbon smiled and kissed Nashi. He broke the kiss and held her.
"I love you," he breathed. Nashi stood on her toes and kissed his cheek.
"I love you, too," she said, hugging his neck. Zarbon knelt down and lifted her up.
"Hey!" she smiled, "Just what are you doing, hmm?"
Zarbon said nothing. He kissed her as he started to leave the room. When they reached their chamber, he laid her down on the bed. He leaned over her and kissed her again. She embraced him and pulled him closer as he started kissing her neck...
Six months pass...
Nashi lay, breathing heavily, exhausted, and drenched in sweat. She closed her eyes as someone wiped the moisture from her brow with a damp cloth. She looked up and saw it was Zarbon. She smiled as he kissed her forehead. A nurse came over to the bed and gave Nashi a bundle of cloth. She took it and looked at the little blue child it held. She lay back in Zarbon's arms. "Hello, Mikan," she smiled. The nurse took the child away as Nashi fell asleep next to Zarbon...
Nashi shifted Mikan to her left arm as she opened the door. Zarbon was sitting and talking to Gohan, who was on Earth, via telescreen. Zarbon turned as she entered.
"Wow, Nashi! You look great!" Gohan exclaimed. "Hey, is that Mikan?"
"Yep," she answered. She sat down next to Zarbon and moved the cloth that Mikan was wrapped up in so that Gohan could see. Zarbon put his arm around her waist.
"Aw, he's so cute!" said Gohan. Nashi smiled and looked at her young son.
Four years pass...
Piccolo leaned against the door frame as he watched Nashi train. Nashi looked up and jumped as she noticed that he was there. "Geez, don't startle me like that Piccolo," she admonished.
"Nice to see you too," he answered. Nashi walked up to him and gave him a hug and a peck on the cheek. Piccolo looked at her, still confused about showing emotions - something he rarely, if ever, did.
"You'll never learn, will you Piccolo?" she smiled.
"No, probably not," Piccolo replied. They started to walk down the hall. It had been a while since the last time he stopped by - he preferred to go off alone and train for months at a time. They were talking about things that had recently happened when Piccolo looked up.
"Heads up," he said. He pulled Nashi out of the middle of the hallway just as a mauve-feathered dragon-like creature bolted past. They turned and watched it as it scampered down the hall.
"Hey! Tonbo! Come back here!" Mikan ran by them, chasing after the dragon.
"Mikan! What did I tell you about Tonbo: he can't stay in the house!" Nashi called. Mikan stopped and walked back to his mother and Piccolo. Just then, Zarbon came out from around the corner.
"Hey, has anyone seen Ton... oh, boy," he blushed as he saw Nashi. She shook her head and sighed.
"Mikan-chan, go put Tonbo outside. Zarbon, Piccolo's here: why don't you two go talk - I'll have a chat with you later," Nashi said as she ushered Mikan away. Mikan laughed.
"Ooh, Papa's in trouble!"
Nashi woke up in the dark room when she felt a tugging at her skirt. She turned over to see Mikan, trembling frightfully. "Mikan-chan, what's wrong, sweetie?" she asked as she pulled him up onto the bed. Zarbon woke up and listened as Mikan spoke.
"I saw a funny-looking monster - he said he was going to kill me!" he cried.
"What? Where did you see that?" Nashi asked. Mikan pointed to his head. Nashi looked at him. "You had a bad dream?" Mikan nodded. Nashi lifted him up and placed him between her and Zarbon. "Shhh, baby. Go back to sleep." Mikan was still shaking. Nashi smiled. "Hey, you said that monster was funny-looking, right?" Mikan nodded. Nashi laughed. "Well, then why don't you laugh at him, the bully!" Mikan smiled a bit. "Shhh. Go to sleep now. Nothing's going to hurt you." Nashi said. Mikan snuggled up to her.
"I love you, momma," he said as he fell to sleep. Zarbon smiled.
"I love you, too, Mikan," Nashi whispered.
