She moaned softly and opened her eyes, blinking in the bright light of one of the Namekkian suns. What happened? she wondered. A figure stood over her, his features hidden by the sun's glare.

That silhouette...

Poppa?

Wait! Tsuki thought, trying to grasp the situation. The fight with Recoome, I didn't - no, no that's not possible, I'm still here - right? Oh, my head... Fearing the worst, she attemped to sit up quickly. She immediately felt light-headed and the figure knelt down before pushing her down again gently.

"Don't get up," his gentle voice said, "you're injured pretty badly."

Tsuki looked at his form again. It couldn't be...

"Poppa?" she whispered.

The figure chuckled. "No, I don't think so." He then moved so that Tsuki could see his face. She could hardly believe how much he looked like her father. "My name is Son Goku," he said as he began to speak again. "Don't worry - everything'll be all right now."

All right?! What the hell does he mean by that? she thought angrily. Before the words could leave her mouth, Goku pressed something against her lips. She reached up and took it from his hand.

"Here - eat this. It's a senzu bean," he explained.

Tsuki looked at him. "Okay... And?"

"Oh, yeah!" he said, sheepishly placing his hand behind his head. "I forgot. You guys don't have senzu beans here!"

Tsuki continued to looked at him, a very confused expression on her face. Goku continued.

"A senzu bean will heal you and replenish your strength. They're a helpful thing to have around when you're training or fighting. Trust me."

For some reason, Tsuki trusted the man who had the aura of a child. She shrugged and popped the bean in her mouth. She began chewing it as Goku left her to help the others who had been injured in their unsuccessful attack - the Earthlings, the Kobitians, her prince...

She then gasped as a surge of energy coursed through her body, healing her wounds and giving incredible power. Wow, she thought, amazed, those things are helpful. I'll bet it gave my power level a big boost, too. She sat up and stretched her arms, testing them with their renewed vigor. She watched as Goku then went over to Zarbon and Nashi, spoke a few words to them, and then handed the two of them one senzu as Nashi nodded her head. Nashi broke the senzu in half, giving one half to Zarbon and keeping the other for herself. Hmm, he must be running low on those beans, Tsuki thought. And why is he helping complete strangers? He has no reason to help us! He seems familiar, but he couldn't be a saiyan - unless he has brain damage or something...

She then looked over to Vegeta who had also just received a senzu, despite Recoome's attempts to stop him. Looks like we're in for another fight, she thought as she watched the large Ginyu fighter stand. Tsuki bit her lip, looking from Nashi and Zarbon to Vegeta. Finally, she sighed and shrugged her shoulders and walked over to Vegeta...
