The survival

It`s a beautiful Sunday morning and the Son`s are visiting the Briefs family. Bulma and      Chi Chi decided that it would be a good idea for all of them to go on a vacation. Not a normal vacation that is, no, they thought it would be a nice idea to go on a survival. They just didn`t tell their husbands about it yet.

"Ehm, guy`s, listen up." Bulma said to her family and Chi Chi`s. Everyone looked up.

" Chi Chi and I have something to tell you."

"Yes, that`s right." Chi Chi was standing next to Bulma. "We decided to"uhm." Vegeta looked very angry at Chi Chi. She was beginning to feel very uncomfortable. "Ehm, we....eh....we decided to....ehm."

"Let me." Bulma pushed her friend away and started talking like she was leading a meeting or something. "We dicided to go on a vacation. And?"

"YOU decided?" Vegeta interrupted.

"Yes, WE decided." Bulma glared at her husband. "We thought it would be a nice idea to go on a survival with the eight of us."

"Yeah right. I`ve fought the most powerfull beings you`ve ever seen and you want us to go on a survival!" Vegeta said.

"Yes. Besides, you can fly so that saves us a lot of money. Now, we don`t have to go by plain."

"Hmmpf, you expect me to carry you?"

"Yes." Bulma said determined. "Goku can carry Chi Chi. Trunks, Gohan and Goten can fly and you can carry me and Bra."

"Oh goodie!" Bra jumped on her fathers neck. "Fly horse!" She yelled.

"Beat it brat! Horses don`t fly!" With that, Vegeta threw Bra away. "I`ll carry you woman, but there`s no way that I`m going to carry that ugly mate of Kakkarot." Vegeta walked towards the kitchen but was stopped by Chi Chi.

"I`m not ugly, Vegeta!" She said angry.

Vegeta looked at Chi Chi from head to toe. 'Yeah right.' Vegeta walked away but when he passed Bulma he stopped. 'She`s in denial.' Satisfied with this re`mark he entered the kitchen and started to study the contents of the fridge.

Bulma sighed. "Alright, it`s all settled then?"

Everybody nodded a yes. "Good, we`re leaving tommorow."

"WHAT?" Vegeta jumped up and hit his head on the inside of the fridge. "Woman, why the hell do you tell us this one day before we leave?"

Bulma didn`t respond. "Hmmpf, next time tell us at least a week in advance." Vegeta put his head back in the fridge.

"What ever." Bulma said.

Next day at the Son`s resident.

"Goku, where are your suitcases?" Chi Chi asked.

"Suitcases?" Goku had a dom look on his face.

"Oh god. Please don`t tell me you forgot!"

"Forgot what?"

"THE SURVIVAL!" Chi Chi yelled.

"Oh that! No....ehm, I didn`t forget, but," ‘Damned, I forgot! I have to find some sort of an excuses. Ah, I know!’ "I was stopped by my neighbour during packing. He didn`t want us to leave." Goku smiled. He was sure of the fact that Chi Chi would belief him.

"Goku."

"Yes?"

Chi Chi sighed. "We don`t have any neighbours."

"Oh."

At the Briefs` resident.

"Woman, what the hell is that?" Vegeta pointed at the ten suitcases Bulma was dragging behind her.

"My make-up." Bulma was now pushing the suitcases in order to get them into the livingroom. She didn`t succeed.

"We`re going on a survival! You don`t need all of that crap!" Vegeta said.

"Daddy?" Bra walked towards her father.

"Not now, brat. Woman, why?"

"Daddy!" Bra sounded very impatient.

"GET LOST!"

Bra walked away with a very cross expression on her face. ‘How dare he?’

"VEGETA! You shouldn`t talk to your daughter that way." Bulma put her finger on Vegeta`s nose. Vegeta started to squint. Bulma saw this and started to laugh very, very hard.

"What is it, woman?"

"Oh, nothing. Let`s go. Bra! Trunks! We`re leaving!" Bra and Trunks ran to their mother.

Vegeta picked up his wife, daughter and suitcases and flew towards their destination. There, they would meet the Son`s.

It was not an easy task for Vegeta to fly. It`s not that everything was to heavy but, he had to be carefull not to drop Bulma or Bra while he also held the suitcases. Bra was calling her father a horse all the time and couldn`t sit still. And to make things worse, Trunks and Bra got into a fight. Trunks flew by his own and tried the whole time to push his siter of off her fathers neck. This caused Bra to scream as loud as possible. Vegeta thought he was going nuts and was very glad when he saw they arrived at the survival camp. Well, it wasn`t exactly a camp, it was more like a place that had been abandon for many years. It was in the middle of the woods and it had a few little bungalows. Not that they were going to use them or anything, Bulma and Chi Chi wanted to sleep in tents. It was suposed to be that way during a survival, so they said.

Vegeta put his daughter, wife and suitcases down.

"Look, there are the others!" Bulma yelled and pointed at a few little dots in the sky. This was no news for Vegeta. He had sensed Goku`s ki a while ago.

"Hee Vegeta!" Goku yelled happy and landed in front of him. He put Chi Chi on the ground.

"Get lost, Kakkarot!" Goku just smiled.

"Trunks, Bra, Gohan and Goten, you`re sleeping in a tent over there." Bulma pointed at a spot in front of a bungalow. "Vegeta, we`re sleeping over here."

"Hmmpf."

"We`re sleeping over here." Goku dropped all of his tent equipment on the floor. "Well, let`s get started."

Everyone started to pitch their tent. Goku and Chi Chi were doing very well. They were done in less than ten minutes.The kids were doing well to. Gohan knew how to pitch a tent, so the others let him do all the work. Vegeta, on the other hand, wasn`t doing so great. He had no idea what to do with the pegs so he had stuck them through the tent. Bulma shouted at him for being an idiot and Vegeta simply blasted the whole thing.

"Vegeta! Where are we going to sleep tonight!" Bulma shouted.

"You can sleep in the bungalow." Goku suggested.

"Shut up, Kakkarot!"

"Hmmm, that`s not such a bad idea!" Bulma said and a devilish grin appeard on her face. Vegeta saw this and smirked.

"Oke, let`s sleep in the bungalow." He said.

After the tent incident everyone got ready for diner. Gohan and Trunks went into the woods to search for something ecible and Goku made a nice little fire.

After their meal, everyone did separate things. Goten and Trunks played cowboy and captured Bra and Gohan. Chi Chi and Goku explored the woods, Bulma fitted up the bungalow and Vegeta searched for spiders and other creepy animals.

When it was time to sleep, everyone looked up their tent. Except for Bulma and Vegeta ofcourse, who headed for their bungalow. They went inside and Vegeta started training.

"Well, how do you like it so far?" Bulma asked.

"Hmmm?" Vegeta was busy doing push ups.

"How do you like it?"

"Like what?"

Bulma sighed. "The survival!"

"Oh that. Oh, hmmpf."

"Don`t you hmmpf me you baka!"

"You`re interrupting my training, woman!"

"Well excuse me, VEGETA!" Bulma stormed into the bathroom while cursing her husband. She decided to take a shower.

After about half an hour she was done and got dressed. She slipted into her nightdress and styled her hair. When she got out of the bathroom, she looked absolutely gorgeous.

Vegeta looked up and his jaw dropped down in amaze. ‘God, you`re beautiful.’ He thought.

Bulma saw how Vegeta looked at her and smiled. She walked towards the bed in a very seductive way. She sat on the bed and laid down making sure Vegeta saw a great amount of cleavage.

Vegeta smirked and sat on the bed next to his wife. He laid down with his face close to Bulma`s.

"What are you smirking at?" Bulma asked.

"You." Vegeta reached out his hand and stroked Bulma`s hair. She smiled.

"Glad you don`t have to sleep in a tent?"

"Sure am." Vegeta said.

"Why?"

"Well, the bed is much more comfortable."

"It sure is." Bulma laid her head on Vegeta`s chest. He wrapped his arms around Bulma`s body and pulled her closer to him. They both were about to fall to sleep in each others arms when they heard somebody scream as if his or her life depended on it.

"What the!" Vegeta rubbed his sensitive sayjin ears.

Bulma ran outside, not aware of the fact that she was still wearing her nightdress.

"Oh my god! Get them off! Get them off!" Chi Chi yelled while she flapped with her hands like an idiot.

Vegeta chuckled. He knew what had happened. He had followed Bulma outside and as soon as he had seen Chi Chi, he knew what was going on.

"What happend?" Bulma asked.

"Chi Chi found some spiders in her sleeping bag." Goku said.

"Hehehe."

Bulma looked at Vegeta. "Vegeta, this is not funny!" Vegeta only laughed harder and harder. He had to hold a big tree to prevent himself from falling.

Chi Chi looked at Vegeta and suddenly, she realised that those spiders didn`t crawl accidently into her sleeping bag. No, someone had put them in there and she knew exactly who that someone was. She was looking at him right now. "VEGETA! YOU PUT THOSE SPIDERS IN THERE!"

Chi Chi pointed at the inside of her tent. She was very angry.

"No, really?"Vegeta smirked.

"Yes, really."

"Are you serious?"

Chi Chi was about to attack Vegeta, but was stopped by Goku. "I don`t think it`s such a good idea to attack Vegeta, honey!"

"Sure it is. I`ll kill him with ease." Chi Chi walked to Vegeta. She now stood a few inches away from him. She could feel his body heat through her clothes. Suddenly, Bulma stood between her husband and friend.

"You stay away from Vegeta!" She warned Chi Chi.

A wide grin appeard on Vegeta`s face.

"Calm down, Chi Chi. Let`s go get some sleep." Goku grabbed Chi Chi`s hand and pulled her away from the couple. Chi Chi sighed and got into the tent with her husband.

Bulma yawned and held Vegeta for support. She was very tired and about to fall down from exhaustion. Vegeta saw this and picked her up and held her in his arms. Bulma yawned a few times more. Her eyes were getting watery. Vegeta looked at her. Bulma smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck. She looked into his eyes and gave him a kiss on his mouth. Vegeta returned the kiss while he carried her to their bungalow. After their kiss, Bulma rested her head on his shoulder. Vegeta walked into the bungalow and placed Bulma on the bed. She was deep asleep.

Vegeta gently tucked her in and sat down on the bed. He looked at the beautiful woman next to him. ‘I may not be the most ideal husband to have, but I`ll always protect you and be there when you need me.’ He thought. He laid down and took Bulma in his arms. After only a minute, he fell asleep.

The next day.

Chi Chi woke up with a jerk. She heard a lot of noise comming from outside. She took a sweater and put it on. Then, she hurried outside.

"PIEW, PIEW!! You`re dead!" Goten yelled while he hunted Trunks.

"NO WAY! You missed me!" Trunks hid behind a tree. You only saw a few purple locks waving in the wind from behind the tree.

"I see you!" Goten yelled.

"No you don`t!" Trunks yelled back.

"Yes I do! I see your hair!"

Trunks looked at his hair. ‘Blasted! Stupid wind!’

Goten continued his hunt and ran after his friend with a lot of racket.

"KNOCK IT OFF!"

Goten and Trunks stood still and turned around. There, they saw a very angry Chi Chi with her fists on her hips.

"Do you know what time it is?" Chi Chi glared at the two boys.

"Ehm, no." Goten said.

"It`s six A.M."

"So?"

"So, that means: BE QUIET!"

Goten and Trunks looked at Chi Chi with an expression on their faces that said; are you serious?

"So!" Chi Chi continued. "I don`t want to hear you guys before eight A.M. Do I make myself clear?"

The boys nodded a yes and Chi Chi was satisfied. She got in her tent to get some more sleep. She was glad when she saw Goku didn`t wake up. She laid herself down and let her head rest on Goku`s chest. Immediately, Goku put an arm around her and Chi Chi smiled before she drifted off to sleep.

Two P.M.

"Forget it!"

"Ah, come on Vegeta!"

The Son`s and the Briefs` decided to take a swim into the lake. Everyone, except for Vegeta, were having fun. Vegeta refused to put on his bathing trunks, but Bulma refused to give up.

"Vegeta, you put on your bathing trunks, RIGHT NOW!"

Chi Chi chuckled behind her hand at the conversation. Vegeta glared at her and she shut up.

"Ah, please Vegeta?" Bulma whined.

"No."

"SPLASH!" Trunks emptyed a bucket full of water above Vegeta`s head.

"@&^)(*&^%F#&)(*)&%##!!!" Vegeta ran after his son, still calling him names, but when he ran along the lake he slipped and fell into the water. He was soaking wet and about to kill his son, but Bulma interfered.

"Vegeta, stop that! The fact that you fell into the lake was an accident. That wasn`t Trunks` fault. Here`s your bathing trunks."

"What? Why?"

"Well, you`re already wet so it can`t hurt to swim. Look at your clothes! You have to take it off."

"Hmmpf."

Bulma gave Vegeta his bathing trunks. "There`s a bush. You can change behind it."

Vegeta sighed, but did as he was told.

After five minutes, Vegeta was done changing and came out of the bushes.

"Whahaha!" Trunks laughed. "My dad in bathing trunks!"

"SHUT UP!" Vegeta yelled. "What`s so funny!?"

"Hehehe, your bathing trunks has got harts on it."

Vegeta looked down."Woman, why the hell am I having harts on my bathing trunks?"

"Ehm, there was this sale and?"

"Enough, I`m not wearing this stupid thing."

"Vegeta!" Bulma sighed. "You already have it on. Come on, let`s swim!" Bulma dove into the lake.

"Woman, I`m not going to swim!"

"Sure you are. Or I`ll tell everyone that you have a birthmark on your..."

"ALLRIGHT! I`LL SWIM!"

Vegeta dove into the lake and swam towards his wife. "You tricked me."

"Me? No, I would never ever do such a thing!" Bulma had a wide stupid grin on her face.

Vegeta smirked. Bulma tried to swim away, but Vegeta picked her up and swam on turbo speed to the other side of the lake.

At the end of the lake, he stopped. "Finally alone." He said.

"Yeah. I......oh, it`s Goku."

"Blasted! What the hell is that weakling doing here?" Vegeta was boiling.

"Hi guys!"

"Goku, what are you doing here?" Bulma asked.

Goku didn`t answer. "Hehe, what were the two of you doing?"

"Nothing."

"Then why is Vegeta still holding you?"

Vegeta, quickly, let Bulma go.

"Uhm, we......eh......we were just....ehm," Bulma stammered.

"THAT`S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!" Vegeta shouted.

"Oh, I get it! You wanted to be alone so you could,"

Vegeta didn`t gave Goku the change to finish the sentence. He hit him as hard as he could in his face.

"Vegeta!" Bulma yelled when she saw Goku flying away.

Vegeta smirked.

Goku landed in the water at the end of the lake. He flew back and started fighting Vegeta.

After a few minutes of figting, Vegeta noticed something had changed. He looked down and saw Bra holding his legg.

"Don`t fight daddy!" She said.

Goku looked at Vegeta`s daughter and a smile appeard on his face. "She`s right Vegeta. We shouldn`t fight."

Vegeta was about to hit Goku again when Bulma stood in his way.

"Don`t Vegeta."

"Hmmpf."

"Look at your daughter! She doesn`t want you to fight either!" Bulma lifted Bra up and put her on her arm.

Vegeta pointed at Bra. " How did she came here anyway?"

"I brought her." Trunks landed in front of Vegeta. "Hi dad."

"And what the hell are you doing here?"

"We sensed Goku`s and your ki so we wanted to know what was going on. So, why did you fight?"

"Because Kakkarot`s an idiot."

"Dad, that`s no reason!"

"Sure it is!" Vegeta said.

Bulma sighed. "Let`s go get something to eat."

Everyone swam and flew back to Chi Chi and Gohan who guarded the food.

In no time at all, all of the food was gone.

Goku and Vegeta ate almost everything. It`s almost hard to belief how much and how quickly they can eat. There was no doubt about the fact that Goku had his lunch under a tree. The ground was covert with crumbs and other junk that Goku was unable to put into his mouth.

"Isn`t this fun?" Chi Chi asked.

Everybody was resting in the sun after their meal. Except for the children, who were playing in the woods somewhere.

Nobody reacted at Chi Chi`s question.

"ISN`T THIS FUN?" She shouted.

"No."

"Shut up, Vegeta." Bulma said. "Yes, we`re having a great time, Chi Chi."

"Then why don`t we stay here for another month?"

"A MONTH?" Vegeta jumped up.

"Yes, a month. What do you think honey?" She looked at Goku.

"I....eh...a...a....a month? Well...I think....ehm...oooooooh.." Goku fell down.

"Goku?" Chi Chi walked to her husband. "Well what do you know?"

"What is it?" Bulma asked.

"He fainted!"
