Bardock is the father of Goku. He and his crew were sent to a planet that could see things in the future. After the desrtuction of this panet, Bardock got in to a fight with one of the survivng creatures of the detroyed planet. He was kicked in the back of his neck and was able to see into the future. He saw his son going to earth and saw him grom up there. He challenged Frieza in the end and Frieza shot a Death Ball at the planet. The survivors, Vegeta, Raditz, Nappa, Turles, and Goku, did not know about this until it was destroyed. The last thing Bardock saw was his son defeating Frieza as a Super Saiyan. And died happy.
