THE THIRD SEASON OF DIGIMON...
The future is at hand!
Season 3 is confirmed! It'll be slightly different then what you're used to though. It
will not continue off from the end of 02! Three new children become Digimon Tamers. They
play the Digimon card game. The card game and the show are related!!! The cards are used
in the show! Besides the new three, many other children are alos Tamers, but this show
only features on three of the children!
This isn't completely good news though. This means that you're favorite Digimon characters
like Davis, Ken, Mimi, Sora, Matt, Izzy, Yolei, TK, Kari, and even Tai probably won't show
up again!
03 will be a lot darker due but there will be a "intersect" with the Digiworld
at one point. Also, the new cast is "great" but they look a little younger in
comparison to the digidestined we are used to. Also, as a twist, it will be harder for the
Digimon to digivolve in 03. A lot harder.
The only question is, are you ready for it?

This new series will be called Digimon Tamers in Japan. It's scheduled to premiere
in Japan in April. Digimon Tamers is planned to be called just "Digimon"
in North America.
This series is more strategic than all previous series. The human partner is called a
Tamer. Hence the name, Digimon Tamers. (look at the name to find a meaning) It'll
have a differnt feel, but it'll still be Digimon!
The New Cast
The new cast is made up of 3 new children:
(expect names 2 change)
 Takato Matsuda
Takato is the new leader and the new goggle boy in Digimon Tamers. He's 10 years old and
from Japan. His digimon partner is Gillmon. Takato isn't that much like the previous
goggle boys, but he's a true friend. Takato is an artist and loves to draw. He is also
very obedient, but is not a very strong fighter.
 Jenrya Lee
His digimon partner is Terriermon. Lee is also 10 years old. Lee's mother is Japanese and
his father is Chinese. He believes that digimon are important friends. He feels very
strongly towards Terriermon and they are very close.
 Ruki Makino
Ruki is un-like any female digidestined before her. She has an attitude and enjoys
fighting. She thinks of Digimon more as a tool for fighting than as real creatures. Her
digimon partner is Renamon. Ruki is also a genius girl who has won the championship in
digimon card game rally. Through the people and digimon around her, Ruki learns the
meaning of friendship and kindness.

 Gillmon/Guilmon
Takato's digimon partner is Gillmon. Gillmon was created when Takato drew a picture of
Gillmon.

Other Characters
There will be all new villians in the third season! Also, it's unknown if any of the
previous characters will appear. Terri-Lei O'Malley believes they will, whereas Megchan
believes they won't. I doubt they will.
 Juri Katou
Juri is one of Takato's friends. Honestly, she kinds scares me. In the first episode, when
Takato is sitting after class, she comes up to him and scares him with her puppet. Then
grabs something, asks a question (which her puppet answers), and walks out of the room.
Well, not before turning back and letting her "puppet-friend" talk one last time
before running down the stairs. Oi. She's strange.
 Hirokazu
Shioda
Hirokazu is another one of Takato's friends. He plays the Digimon card game with him. He's
also very agressive.
 Kenta Kitagawa
Kenta, like Hirokazu, is one of Takato's friends that he plays the card game with. He's
not as loud as Hirokazu though.
 Shiuchon
Shiuchon is Lee's little sister. She's really cute and naive.
 Yamaki
Yamaki is a member of the secret government organization known as "Hypnos." He
monitors "underground cyberspace" and he tries to capture the "wild
one" - a digimon that has an extraordinary potential or energy. He is often seen
playing with a lighter.
 Yamaki's
Assistants
These two girls help Yamaki. They sit back to back, up in elevated chairs in what seems to
be a control room. For some reason, they remind me of Gennai.
 Digivolving
Digivolving will be a lot harder in the third season. One very special orphan Digimon will
be the key to digivolving. Also expect extremely powerful digivices.

Music
The Japanese opening theme for Digimon Tamers is called "The Biggest
Dreamer" and it's sung by Koji Wada. The ending theme is called "My
Tomorrow" and it's preformed by AiM.
Movies
A new movie, Digimon Tamers: The Adventurers' Battle will come out in Japanese
theatres this summer! *winks* It will probably be combined with movie 4 along with along
with movie 6 (if they make a movie 6) before hitting North American theatres. 
THE 4TH DIGIMON MOVIE IS COMING!
Are you ready?
The 4th Digimon Movie will be called Diaboromon Strikes Back. It came out in
Japanese theatres on March 3rd, 2001
