Future Trunks

Age: 13-23
Appears in: DBZ
Personality: Future Trunks' personality, unlike most other DBZ characters, has two sides. He's really friendly, gentle, and shy around his friends and family. He blushes a lot around his mom and if he gets complimented, but he's usually pretty quiet for the most part. He hardly ever smiles either, but he's still really kind to his friends. When the subject of Androids comes up his attitude toally changes. He gets all serious and determined and angry. He becomes a merciless bad arse during battle and he'll stop at nothing to kill the Androids and also to win his father's respect. He puts other people before himself, especially his father since he died in the future timeline, and he's a determined warrior whom the Z gang can always count on to help them in battle.
History: Future Trunks' past is an extremely dark one filled with sorrow and death. Goku died of a heart disease when Trunks was a baby. This lead to terrible disasters 6 months later when Androids 17 and 18 started to terrorize the Earth. Their power was unimaginable, and the rest of the Z gang were no match against them. One by one the warriors fell: Piccolo, Yamcha, Tien, Vegeta, and Krillin. Every warrior was killed by these ruthless Androids, until Trunks and Gohan were the only ones left to challenge them. Thirteen years of the Androids' terror passed, and Gohan began to train Trunks to try to get him to reach the Super Saiyajin level. Shortly after a battle with the Androids, Gohan lost an arm, and thusly, was easily killed by them during the following battle. As Trunks' only friend perished, he uncontrollably reached Super Saiyajin. Three years later Trunks attemped to fight the Androids alone. Unfortunately he didn't succeed, and he was nearly killed. After a few months of recovery, Trunks decided to use Bulma's time machine to go back to the past to give Goku the antidote for the heart disease in order to prevent this from reoccurring. Bravely, he traveled back to the present timeline and killed Frieza. He gave Goku the antidote and a summary of what was about to come, and he left.
Three years after that event the Androids came. Trunks came back to the present timeline again to help the Z gang defeat them. Cell shortly came along as they were fighting the Androids. His goal was to absorb the two Androids in order to reach his perfect form. Trunks went into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber with Vegeta where he trained for a year to surpass Super Saiyajin to defeat Cell. When they emerged from the chamber they immediately headed to where Cell was. When they got there Cell had already absorbed Android 17 and he was looking for 18. Vegeta stupidly let Cell get away and absorb Android 18 and this led to disaster. Vegeta was knocked unconscious after Cell reached his perfect form. Trunks then fought with Cell to distract him, which gave Krillin time to sneak away with Vegeta. After a few missed punches Trunks realized he was too slow to hit Cell. Cell then told Trunks that in 10 days he would hold a tournament for anybody. Trunks flew back and told the Z gang about this and they all started training. Trunks went back into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber again to become even more powerful. On the day of the tournament the whole Z gang goes. Goku fought Cell first and forfitted after a vigurous battle. Gohan had to go next and he beat Cell up so badly that he coughed up Android 18. Cell then decided to self destruct to blow the whole world up. Goku teleported him to King Kai's planet before he blew up and died during the explosion. Cell survived his own self destruction and came back to Earth and shot a ki blast through Trunks. Vegeta then went off and attacked Cell, but got knocked unconcious again. Gohan then killed Cell and the Z gang went to Kami's place and wished everyone who was killed by Cell back. Trunks was then revived and he went back to the future timeline. As soon as he arrived he went off and killed the Androids. Then a little while later he killed the future Cell and the nightmare was over...

Chibi Trunks

Age: 8
Appears in: DBZ
Personality: Chibi Trunks is a kawaii little 8 year old who's dying for adventure and getting into mischeif. He's really spoiled since his mom's a millionair and he bosses Goten around a lot. He looks up to his dad and thinks he's the greatest fighter in the world. Like his father, he's into fighting and kicking peoples' arses. Any human is just a weakling to him. He's got a leader-like spirit and he's pretty strong for his age. He's also really full of himself and he thinks he can beat anybody but his dad.
History: Trunks was born two years after Future Trunks' first appearance. He was just a baby when Future Trunks came to fight Cell. After eight years he grew into a cute little boy and he was always training with his Vegeta since he was so dead set about making Trunks stronger than Gohan. He became Super Saiyajin at young age and revealed his power while he was training with his father. He entered the upcoming world tournament, hoping to be fighting in the adult divison, only to be put with Goten in the junior division. This really offended him and ticked him off. After cheating and winning the junior division he got to 'fight' Mr. Satan. With one punch the wimp went flying out of the battle zone. Trunks then convinced Goten to sneak into the adult division. They attacked a person named Mighty Mask, dressed up as him, and entered the adult division under his identity. Later the Z gang went off to see what was going on with the Supreme Kai and Trunks and Goten were the only ones left to fight in the tournament along with Android 18 and Mr. Satan. After blowing their cover and getting defeated by 18, they flew off to see Majiin Buu. When they arrived they found Piccolo and Krillin petrified. Literally. Trunks accidentaly knocked over Piccolo, thinking he was a statue and broke him to peices. Trunks and Goten then watched from a far view of the battle that was occuring between Majiin Buu, Debora, Babadi, and Gohan. Shortly after Debora was killed, Krillin and Piccolo returned to their normal forms. Vegeta then made a dramatic entrance and fought against Buu while Trunks cheered his dad on. Buu then gained the advantage and Trunks flew down to go help his dad. Vegeta hugged Trunks and told him some emotional stuff and knocked him out. Then he blew himself up in order to kill Buu. Everyone then went back to Kami's place and Trunks found out what happened to his dad. Babadi, who survived, talked to the A gang telepathically and told them to bring Piccolo, Trunks, and Goten to him or the surviving Buu would start killing people. Piccolo and Goku then trained Trunks and Goten how to fuse and after much effort they succeeded. Trunks and Goten then went into the Hyperbolic Time chamber to prepare for the battle against Buu. After a lotta junk happened Buu changed his form and went up to where the Z gang was and demanded to fight with Trunks and Goten. Trunks and Goten fused into Gotenks and they began to fight against Buu. They didn't succeed, however, and Vegeta and Goku soon had to fuse into Gogeta and defeated Buu. Later in a movie Trunks recieved a sword from Tapion after developing a close friendship with him.

GT Trunks

Age: 25
Appears in: DBGT
Personality: GT Trunks is unlike Trunks' other forms. He's really goofy and doesn't take fighting seriously. He only act mature when he's in his office, but he's so irrisponsible that he won't even stay at work. He seems to be too nice to people like Pan and thusly giving her control over him. He's really funny at times, but he can also be serious. He basically protects Goku and Pan on their trip to get the Dragon Balls and he's always there to save Goten from getting himself killed.
History: One day, Trunks was working the job he hated so much and he got bored and flew out his window. Vegeta got mad at him, so he got sent on a trip with Goku and Goten to get the Dragon Balls. But instead of Goten, Pan went with them instead (she probably wanted to go to be with Trunks. No surprise there.) In GT, Trunks has LOTS of fun! He disco dances, cross dresses, saves Pan's life a billion times and gets married! To a big ugly monster! Oh what this boy will do for his friends!
