the best books after quran . And all ahadiths there are correct . then what you
think about these ahadiths?
Sahih Muslim:
Book 003, Number 0684:
Abu Musa reported: There cropped up a difference of
opinion between a group of Muhajirs (Emigrants and a group of Ansar (Helpers)
(and the point of dispute was) that the Ansar said: The bath (because of sexual
intercourse) becomes obligatory only-when the semen spurts out or ejaculates.
But the Muhajirs said: When a man has sexual intercourse (with the woman), a
bath becomes obligatory (no matter whether or not there is seminal emission or
ejaculation). Abu Musa said: Well, I satisfy you on this (issue). He (Abu Musa,
the narrator) said: I got up (and went) to 'A'isha and sought her permission
and it was granted, and I said to her: 0 Mother, or Mother of the Faithful, I
want to ask you about a matter on which I feel shy. She said: Don't feel shy of
asking me about a thing which you can ask your mother, who gave you birth, for
I am too your mother. Upon this I said: What makes a bath obligatory for a
person? She replied: You have come across one well informed! The Messenger of
Allah (may peace be upon him) said: When anyone sits amidst four parts (of the
woman) and the circumcised parts touch each other a bath becomes obligatory.
Sahih Bokhari:
Volume 1, Book 5, Number 251:
Narrated Abu Salama:
'Aisha's brother and I went to 'Aisha and he asked her
about the bath of the Prophet. She brought a pot containing about a Sa' of
water and took a bath and poured it over her head and at what time there was a
screen between her and us. (astagfurAllah)
Sahih Bokhari:
Volume 1, Book 5, Number 277:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, 'The (people of) Bani Israel used to
take bath naked (all together) looking at each other. The Prophet Moses used to
take a bath alone. They said, 'By Allah! Nothing prevents Moses from taking a
bath with us except that he has a scrotal hernia.' So once Moses went out to
take a bath and put his clothes over a stone and then that stone ran away with
his clothes. Moses followed that stone saying, "My clothes, O stone! My
clothes, O stone! till the people of Bani Israel saw him and said, 'By Allah,
Moses has got no defect in his body. Moses took his clothes and began to beat
the stone." Abu Huraira added, "By Allah! There are still six or
seven marks present on the stone from that excessive beating."
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "When the
Prophet Job (Aiyub) was taking a bath naked, golden locusts began to fall on
him. Job started collecting them in his clothes. His Lord addressed him, 'O
Job! Haven't I given you enough so that you are not in need of them.' Job
replied, 'Yes!' By Your Honor (power)! But I cannot dispense with Your
Blessings.' " (AstagfurAllah)
Sahih Bokhari
Volume 1, Book 5, Number 274:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Once the call (Iqama) for the prayer was announced and
the rows were straightened. Allah's Apostle came out; and when he stood up at
his Musalla, he remembered that he was Junub. Then he ordered us to stay at our
places and went to take a bath and then returned with water dropping from his
head. He said, "Allahu-Akbar", and we all offered the prayer with
him. (AstagfurAllah)
Sahih Muslim: Book 003, Number 0685:
'A'isha the wife of the Apostle of Allah (may peace be
upon him) reported. A person asked the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon
him) about one who has sexual intercourse with his wife and parts away (without
orgasm) whether bathing is obligatory for him. 'A'isha was sitting by him. The
Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: I and she (the Mother of the
Faithful) do it and then take a bath.(AstagfurAllah)
(This is another narration fabricated by the forgers,
may Allah destroy them and increase for them a painful punishment. Otherwise,
how can reason accept such narrations about the bearer of the messages, he from
whom all shyness had gone, he says to men, in the presence of his wife, what an
ordinary believer would feel shy to talk of? )
To justify songs and dancing which were famous in the
time of the Umayyads here are some hadiths
Sahih Bokhari:
Volume 5, Book 59, Number 336:
Narrated Ar-Rubai bint Muauwidh:
The Prophet came to me after consuming his marriage
with me and sat down on my bed as you (the sub-narrator) are sitting now, and
small girls were beating the tambourine and singing in lamentation of my father
who had been killed on the day of the battle of Badr. Then one of the girls
said, "There is a Prophet amongst us who knows what will happen
tomorrow." The Prophet said (to her)," Do not say this, but go on
saying what you have spoken before."
Volume 4, Book 52, Number 155:
Narrated 'Aisha:
Allah's Apostle came to my house while two girls were
singing beside me the songs of Bu'ath (a story about the war between the two
tribes of the Ansar, i.e. Khazraj and Aus, before Islam.) The Prophet reclined
on the bed and turned his face to the other side. Abu Bakr came and scolded me
and said protestingly, "Instrument of Satan in the presence of Allah's
Apostle?" Allah's Apostle turned his face towards him and said, "Leave
them." When Abu Bakr became inattentive, I waved the two girls to go away
and they left. It was the day of 'Id when negroes used to play with leather
shields and spears. Either I requested Allah's Apostle or he himself asked me
whether I would like to see the display. I replied in the affirmative. Then he
let me stand behind him and my cheek was touching his cheek and he was saying,
"Carry on, O Bani Arfida (i.e. negroes)!" When I got tired, he asked
me if that was enough. I replied in the affirmative and he told me to leave.
Sahih Bokhari:
Volume 2, Book 15, Number 72:
Narrated Aisha:
Abu Bakr came to my house while two small Ansari girls
were singing beside me the stories of the Ansar concerning the Day of Buath.
And they were not singers. Abu Bakr said protestingly, "Musical
instruments of Satan in the house of Allah's Apostle !" It happened on the
'Id day and Allah's Apostle said, "O Abu Bakr! There is an 'Id for every
nation and this is our 'Id."
Sahih Bokhari:
Volume 7, Book 62, Number 163:
Narrated 'Aisha:
The Prophet was screening me with his Rida' (garment
covering the upper part of the body) while I was looking at the Ethiopians who
were playing in the courtyard of the mosque. (I continued watching) till I was
satisfied. So you may deduce from this event how a little girl (who has not
reached the age of puberty) who is eager to enjoy amusement should be treated
in this respect.
Sahih Muslim:
Book 004, Number 1943:
'A'isha reported that some Abyssinians came and gave a
demonstration of armed fight on the 'Id day in the mosque. The Apostle of Allah
(may peace be upon him) invited me (to see that fight). I placed my head on his
shoulder and began to see their sport till it was I who turned away from
watching them.(astagfurAllah)
Sahih Bokhari:
Volume 2, Book 26, Number 789:
Narrated 'Aisha:
We performed Hajj with the Prophet and performed
Tawaf-al-ifada on the Day of Nahr (slaughtering). Safiya got her menses and the
Prophets desired from her what a husband desires from his wife. I said to him,
"O Allah's Apostle! She is having her menses." He said, "Is she
going to detain us?" We informed him that she had performed Tawaf-al-Ifada
on the Day of Nahr. He said, "(Then you can) depart." (astagfurAllah)
The Prophet does not feel shy (astagfurAllah)
(Sahih Muslim)
Book 031, Number 5907:
A'isha, the wife of Allah's Apostle (mav peace be upon
him), and Uthman both reported that Abu Bakr sought permission from Allah's
Messenger (may peace be upon him) for entrance (in his apartment) as he had
been lying on his bed covered with the bed-sheet of A'isha, and he gave
permission to Abu Bakr in that very state and he, having his need fulfilled,
went back. Then Umar sought permission and it was given to him in that very
state and, after having his need fulfilled, he went back. And 'Uthman reported:
Then I sought permission from him and he got up and raid to A'isha: Wrap
yourself well with your cloth, then I got my need fulfilled and came back. And
A'isha said: Allah's Messenger, why is it that I did not see you feeling any anxiety
in case of dressing properly in the presence of Abu Bakr and 'Umar (Allah be
pleased with them) as you showed in case of 'Uthman. Thereupon Allah's
Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Verily Uthman is a person who is very
modest and I was afraid that if I permitted him to enter in this very state he
would not inform me of his need.
(astagfurAllah)
Sahih Bokhari:
Volume 1, Book 8, Number 360:
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah:
While Allah's Apostle was carrying stones (along) with
the people of Mecca for (the building of) the Ka'ba wearing an Izar
(waist-sheet cover), his uncle Al-'Abbas said to him, "O my nephew! (It
would be better) if you take off your Izar and put it over your shoulders
underneath the stones." So he took off his Izar and put it over his
shoulders, but he fell unconscious and since then he had never been seen naked(astagfurAllah)
Sahih Muslim: Book 004, Number 1182:
Ibn Sirin reported Abu Huraira as saying: The
Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) led us in one of the two evening
prayers, Zuhr or 'Asr, and gave salutations after two rak'ahs and going towards
a piece of wood which was placed to the direction of the Qibla in the mosque,
leaned on it looking as if he were angry. Abu Bakr and Umar were among the
people and they were too afraid to speak to him and the people came out in
haste (saying): The prayer has been shortened. But among them was a man called
Dhu'I-Yadain who said: Messenger of Allah, has the prayer been shortened or
have you forgotten? The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) looked to the
right and left and said: What was Dhu'I-Yadain saying? They said: He is right.
You (the Holy Prophet) offered but two rak'ahs. lie offered two (more) rak'ahs
and gave salutation, then said takbir and prostrated and lifted (his head) and
then said takbir and prostrated, then said takbir and lifted (his head). He
(the narrator) says: It has been reported to me by Imran b. Husain that he
said: He (their) gave salutation. (astagfurAllah)
Sahih Bokhari:
Volume 9, Book 91, Number 356:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle finished his prayer after offerings
two Rakat only. Dhul-Yaddain asked him whether the prayer had been reduced, or
you had forgotten?" The Prophet said, "Is Dhul-Yaddain speaking the truth?"
The people said, "Yes." Then Allah's Apostle stood up and performed
another two Rakat and then finished prayer with Taslim, and then said the
Takbir and performed a prostration similar to or longer than his ordinary
prostrations; then he raised his head, said Takbir and prostrated and then
raised his head (Sahu prostrations). (astagfurAllah)
Sahih Bokhari: Volume 1, Book 3, Number 117:
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
I stayed overnight in the house of my aunt Maimuna
bint Al-Harith (the wife of the Prophet ) while the Prophet was there with her
during her night turn. The Prophet offered the 'Isha' prayer (in the mosque),
returned home and after having prayed four Rakat, he slept. Later on he got up
at night and then asked whether the boy (or he used a similar word) had slept?
Then he got up for the prayer and I stood up by his left side but he made me
stand to his right and offered five Rakat followed by two more Rakat. Then he
slept and I heard him snoring and then (after a while) he left for the (Fajr)
prayer. (astagfurAllah)
The Prophet takes an oath then breaks it
(astagfurAllah)
Sahih Bokhari:
Volume 5, Book 59, Number 668:
Narrated Zahdam:
When Abu Musa arrived (at Kufa as a governor) he
honored this family of Jarm (by paying them a visit). I was sitting near to
him, and he was eating chicken as his lunch, and there was a man sitting
amongst the people. Abu Musa invited the man to the lunch, but the latter said,
"I saw chickens (eating something (dirty) so I consider them unclean."
Abu Musa said, "Come on! I saw the Prophet eating it (i.e. chicken)."
The man said "I have taken an oath that I will not ea (chicken)" Abu
Musa said." Come on! I will tell you about your oath. We, a group of
Al-Ash'ariyin people went to the Prophet and asked him to give us something to
ride, but the Prophet refused. Then we asked him for the second time to give us
something to ride, but the Prophet took an oath that he would not give us
anything to ride. After a while, some camels of booty were brought to the Prophet
and he ordered that five camels be given to us. When we took those camels we
said, "We have made the Prophet forget his oath, and we will not be
successful after that." So I went to the Prophet and said, "O Allah'
Apostle ! You took an oath that you would not give us anything to ride, but you
have given us." He said, "Yes, for if I take an oath and later I see
a better solution than that, I act on the later (and gave the expiation of that
oaths" (astagfurAllah)
The Prophet plays with the laws of God as he wishes(AstagfurAllah)
Sahih Bokhari
Volume 8, Book 79, Number 702:
Narrated Abu Huraira :
A man came to the Prophets and said, "I am
ruined!" The Prophet said, "What is the matter with you?" He
said, "I have done a sexual relation with my wife (while fasting) in
Ramadan" The Prophet said to him, "Can you afford to manumit a
slave?" He said, "No." The Prophet said, "Can you fast for
two successive months?" He said, "No." The Prophet said,
"Can you feed sixty poor persons?" He said, "I have
nothing." Later on an Irq (big basket) containing dates was given to the
Prophet, and the Prophet said (to him), "Take this basket and give it in
charity." The man said, "To poorer people than we? Indeed, there is
nobody between its (i.e., Medina's) two mountains who is poorer than we."
The Prophet then said, "Take it and feed your family with it."
(astagfurAllah)
The Prophet behaves like a child and then disciplines
one who does not deserve punishment
Sahih Bokhari:
Volume 5, Book 59, Number 735:
Narrated 'Aisha:
We poured medicine in one side of the Prophet's mouth
during his illness and he started pointing to us, meaning to say, "Don't
pour medicine in my mouth." We said, "(He says so) because a patient
dislikes medicines." When he improved and felt a little better, he said,
"Didn't I forbid you to pour medicine in my mouth ?" We said, "
( We thought it was because of) the dislike, patients have for medicines. He
said, "Let everyone present in the house be given medicine by pouring it
in his mouth while I am looking at him, except 'Abbas as he has not witnessed
you (doing the same to me)." (astagfurallah)
The Prophet leaves out some verses of the Qur'an
Sahih Bokhari:
Book 004, Number 1720:
'A'isha reported that the Apostle of Allah (may peace
be upon him) heard a person reciting the Qur'an at night. Upon this he said:
May Allah show mercy to him; he has reminded me of such and such a verse which
I had missed in such and such a surah.(astagfurallah)
Sahih bokhari: Book 004, Number 1724:
'Abdullah reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be
upon him) as saying: What a wretched person is he amongst them who says: I have
forgotten such and such a verse. (He should instead of using this expression
say): I have been made to forget it. Try to remember the Qur'an for it is more
apt to escape from men's minds than a hobbled camel.(astagfurAllah)
Unity of Allah (Tawhid)
Sahih Muslim:
Book 040,
Number 6809:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be
upon him) as saying: Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, created Adam in His own
image with His length of sixty cubits, and as He created him He told him to
greet that group, and that was a party of angels sitting there, and listen to
the response that they give him, for it would form his greeting and that of his
offspring. He then went away and said: Peace be upon you! They (the angels)
said: May there be peace upon you and the Mercy of Allah, and they made an
addition of" Mercy of Allah". So he who would get into Paradise would
get in the form of Adarn, his length being sixty cubits, then the people who
followed him continued to diminish in size up to this day.(astagfurAllah)
Sahih Muslim:
Book 032, Number 6325:
This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of
Abu Huraira and in the hadith transmitted on the authority of Ibn Hatim Allah's
Apostle (may peace be upon him) is reported to have said: When any one of you
fights with his brother, he should avoid his face for Allah created Adam in His
own image.(astagfurAllah)
Sahih Muslim:
Book 001, Number 0349:
Abu Haraira reported: The people said to the Messenger
of Allah (may peace be upon him): Messenger of Allah, shall we see our Lord on
the Day of Resurrection? The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said:
Do you feel any trouble in seeing the moon on the night when it is full? They
said: Messenger of Allah, no. He (the Messenger) further said: Do you feel any
trouble in seeing the sun, when there is no cloud over it? They said: Messenger
of Allah. no. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Verily you would see Him like this
(as you see the sun and the moon). God will gather people on the Day of
Resurrection and say: Let every people follow what they worshipped. Those who
worshipped the sun would follow the sun, and those who worshipped the moon
would follow the moon, and those who worshipped the devils would follow the
devils. This Ummah (of Islam) alone would be left behind and there would be
hypocrites too amongst it. Allah would then come to them in a form other than
His own Form, recognisable to them, and would say: I am your Lord. They would
say: We take refuge with Allah from thee. We will stay here till our Lord comes
to us. and when our Lord would come we would recognise Him. Subsequently Allah
would come to them in His own Form, recognisable to them, and say: I am your
Lord. They would say: Thou art our Lord. And they would follow Him, and a
bridge would be set over the Hell; and I (the Holy Prophet) and my Ummah would
be the first to pass over it; and none but the messengers would speak on that
day, and the prayer of the messengers on that day would be: O Allah! grant
safety, grant safety. In Hell, there would be long spits like the thorns of
Sa'dan He (the Holy Prophet) said: Have you seen Sa'dan? They replied: Yes,
Messenger of Allah. He said: Verily those (hooks) would be like the thorns of
Sa'dan, but no one knows their size except Allah. These would seize people for
their misdeeds. Some of them would escape for their (good) deeds, and some
would be rewarded for their deeds till they get salvation. When Allah would
finish judging His bondsmen and because of His mercy decide to take out of Hell
such people as He pleases. He would command the angels to bring out those who
had not associated anything with Allah; to whom Allah decided to show mercy.
those who would say: There is no god but Allah. They (the angels) would
recognise them in the Fire by the marks of prostration, for Hell-fire will
devour everything (limb) of the sons of Adam except the marks of prostration.
Allah has forbidden the fire to consume the marks of prostration. They will be
taken out of the Fire having been burnt, and the water of life would be poured
over them, and they will sprout as seed does In the silt carried by flood.
Then Allah would finish judging amongst His bondsmen;
but a man who will be the last to enter Paradise will remain facing Hell and
will say: O my Lord I turn my face away from Hell, for its air has poisoned me
ard its blaze has burnt me. He will then call to Allah as long as Allah would
wish that he should call to Him. Then Allah, Blessed and Exalted, would say: If
I did that, perhaps you would ask for more than that. He would say: I would not
ask You more than this, and he would give his Lord covenants and agreements as
Allah wished, and so He would turn his face away from the Fire When he turns
towards the Paradise and sees it, he will remain silent as long as Allah wishes
him to remain so. He will then say: O my Lord I bring me forward to the gate of
the Paradise. Allah would say to him: Did you not give covenants and agreements
that you would not ask for anything besides what I had given you. Woe to thee!
O son of Adam, how treacherous you are! He would say: O my Lord! and would
continue calling to Allah till He would say to him: If I grant you that,
perhaps you will ask for more. He will reply: No, by Thy greatness, and he will
give His Lord promises and covenants as Allah had wished. He would then bring
him to the gate of the Paradise, and when he would stand at the gate of the
Paradise, it would lay open before him. and he would see the bounty and the joy
that there is in it. He would remain quiet as long as Allah would desire him to
remain silent. He would then say: O my Lord, admit me to Paradise. Allah.
Blessed and Exalted, would say: Did you not give covenants and agreements that
you would not ask for anything more than what I had granted you? Woe to you!
son of Adam, how treacherous you are! And he would say: O my Lord, I do not
wish to be the most miserable of Thy creatures. He would continue calling upon
Allah till Allah, Blessed and Exalted, would laugh. When Allah would laugh at
him, He would say: Enter the Paradise. When he would enter, Allah would say:
State your wish. He would express his wishes till Allah would remind him (the
desire of) such and such (things). When his desires would be exhausted Allah
would say: That is for thee and, besides it, the like of it also. 'Ata' b.
Yazid said: Abu Sa'id al-Khudri was with Abu Huraira and be did not reject
anything from the hadith narrated by him, but when Abu Huraira narrated:"
Allah said to that man; ind its like along with it," Abu Sa'id said:"
Ten like it along with it," O Abu Huraira. Abu Huraira said: I do not
remember except the words:" That is for you and a similar one along with
it." Abu Sa'id said: I bear witness to the fact that I remembered from the
Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) his words:" That is for thee
and ten like it." Abu Huraira said: That man was the last of those
deserving of Paradise to enter Paradise.(astagfurAllah)

visible, and then recited:--

full, and (Its fullness) is not affected by the continuous spending night and

Yet all that has not decreased what is in His Right Hand. His Throne is over
the water and in His other Hand is the Bounty or the Power to bring about

are My Mercy,' and said to Hell, 'You are My Punishment which I inflict upon
whom I wish, and I shall fill both of you.'" The Prophet added, "As
for Paradise, (it will be filled with good people) because Allah does not wrong
any of His created things, and He creates for Hell (Fire) whomever He will, and
they will be thrown into it, and it will say thrice, 'Is there any more, till
Allah (will put) His Foot over it and it will become full and its sides will

Allah's Prophet Solomon who had sixty wives, once
said, "Tonight I will have sexual relation (sleep) with all my wives so
that each of them will become pregnant and bring forth (a boy who will grow
into) a cavalier and will fight in Allah's Cause." So he slept with his
wives and none of them (conceived and) delivered (a child) except one who
brought a half (body) boy (deformed). Allah's Prophet said, "If Solomon
had said; 'If Allah Will,' then each of those women would have delivered a
(would-be) cavalier to fight in Allah's Cause." (See Hadith No. 74 A, Vol.
4).
So when nobody remains except the righteous and the
libertine who worshipped Allah, the Lord of the Worlds will come to them in the
form wherein they saw Him, and He will ask them, "What are you waiting
for? Each nation should follow what it used to worship." They will say,
"We are waiting for our Lord Whom we worshipped." "I am your
Lord," He will say. They will twice or thrice respond by saying, "We
do not associate any with Allah..." He will ask them, "Is there any
mark whereby you can recognize Him?" They will say, "Yes, the
leg." So He will uncover His leg, whereupon they will fall prostrating.
Then they will raise their heads and see Him in the form whereby they saw Him
the first time. It is then that He will say, "I am your Lord." They
will say, "You are our Lord."

Sahih Bokhari
Volume 9, Book 93, Number 531:
Narrated Jarir:
Allah's Apostle came out to us on the night of the
full moon and said, "You will see your Lord on the Day of Resurrection as
you see this (full moon) and you will have no difficulty in seeing Him."
Sahih bokhari
Volume 9, Book 93, Number 532s:
Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri:
We said, "O Allah's Apostle! Shall we see our
Lord on the Day of Resurrection?" He said, "Do you have any
difficulty in seeing the sun and the moon when the sky is clear?" We said,
"No." He said, "So you will have no difficulty in seeing your
Lord on that Day as you have no difficulty in seeing the sun and the moon (in a
clear sky)." The Prophet then said, "Somebody will then announce,
'Let every nation follow what they used to worship.' So the companions of the
cross will go with their cross, and the idolators (will go) with their idols,
and the companions of every god (false deities) (will go) with their god, till
there remain those who used to worship Allah, both the obedient ones and the
mischievous ones, and some of the people of the Scripture. Then Hell will be
presented to them as if it were a mirage. Then it will be said to the Jews,
"What did you use to worship?' They will reply, 'We used to worship Ezra,
the son of Allah.' It will be said to them, 'You are liars, for Allah has
neither a wife nor a son. What do you want (now)?' They will reply, 'We want
You to provide us with water.' Then it will be said to them 'Drink,' and they
will fall down in Hell (instead). Then it will be said to the Christians, 'What
did you use to worship?'
They will reply, 'We used to worship Messiah, the son
of Allah.' It will be said, 'You are liars, for Allah has neither a wife nor a
son. What: do you want (now)?' They will say, 'We want You to provide us with
water.' It will be said to them, 'Drink,' and they will fall down in Hell
(instead). When there remain only those who used to worship Allah (Alone), both
the obedient ones and the mischievous ones, it will be said to them, 'What
keeps you here when all the people have gone?' They will say, 'We parted with
them (in the world) when we were in greater need of them than we are today, we
heard the call of one proclaiming, 'Let every nation follow what they used to
worship,' and now we are waiting for our Lord.' Then the Almighty will come to
them in a shape other than the one which they saw the first time, and He will
say, 'I am your Lord,' and they will say, 'You are not our Lord.' And none will
speak: to Him then but the Prophets, and then it will be said to them, 'Do you
know any sign by which you can recognize Him?' They will say. 'The Shin,' and
so Allah will then uncover His Shin whereupon every believer will prostrate
before Him and there will remain those who used to prostrate before Him just
for showing off and for gaining good reputation. These people will try to
prostrate but their backs will be rigid like one piece of a wood (and they will
not be able to prostrate). Then the bridge will be laid across Hell." We,
the companions of the Prophet said, "O Allah's Apostle! What is the
bridge?'
He said, "It is a slippery (bridge) on which
there are clamps and (Hooks like) a thorny seed that is wide at one side and
narrow at the other and has thorns with bent ends. Such a thorny seed is found
in Najd and is called As-Sa'dan. Some of the believers will cross the bridge as
quickly as the wink of an eye, some others as quick as lightning, a strong
wind, fast horses or she-camels. So some will be safe without any harm; some
will be safe after receiving some scratches, and some will fall down into Hell
(Fire). The last person will cross by being dragged (over the bridge)."
The Prophet said, "You (Muslims) cannot be more pressing in claiming from
me a right that has been clearly proved to be yours than the believers in
interceding with Almighty for their (Muslim) brothers on that Day, when they
see themselves safe.
They will say, 'O Allah! (Save) our brothers (for
they) used to pray with us, fast with us and also do good deeds with us.' Allah
will say, 'Go and take out (of Hell) anyone in whose heart you find faith equal
to the weight of one (gold) Dinar.' Allah will forbid the Fire to burn the
faces of those sinners. They will go to them and find some of them in Hell
(Fire) up to their feet, and some up to the middle of their legs. So they will
take out those whom they will recognize and then they will return, and Allah will
say (to them), 'Go and take out (of Hell) anyone in whose heart you find faith
equal to the weight of one half Dinar.' They will take out whomever they will
recognize and return, and then Allah will say, 'Go and take out (of Hell)
anyone in whose heart you find faith equal to the weight of an atom (or a
smallest ant), and so they will take out all those whom they will
recognize." Abu Sa'id said: If you do not believe me then read the Holy
Verse:--
'Surely! Allah wrongs not even of the weight of an atom
(or a smallest ant) but if there is any good (done) He doubles it.' (4.40) The
Prophet added, "Then the prophets and Angels and the believers will
intercede, and (last of all) the Almighty (Allah) will say, 'Now remains My
Intercession. He will then hold a handful of the Fire from which He will take
out some people whose bodies have been burnt, and they will be thrown into a
river at the entrance of Paradise, called the water of life.
They will grow on its banks, as a seed carried by the
torrent grows. You have noticed how it grows beside a rock or beside a tree,
and how the side facing the sun is usually green while the side facing the
shade is white. Those people will come out (of the River of Life) like pearls,
and they will have (golden) necklaces, and then they will enter Paradise
whereupon the people of Paradise will say, 'These are the people emancipated by
the Beneficent. He has admitted them into Paradise without them having done any
good deeds and without sending forth any good (for themselves).' Then it will
be said to them, 'For you is what you have seen and its equivalent as
well.'"
