Beer Review: Giddyup Stout
Coffee, anyone? Wow! You could actually smell (and taste!) the coffee in this smooth stout. Sweetwater doesn't try to hide this fact, proclaiming that 'roasted malts & real coffee make this stout well balanced and smooth...decaf not available'. This dark brew had a medium body that hinted at something thicker and was very smooth. It went down well (and always with that coffee aftertaste!). I would have to say this was my favorite of the five beers on tap that night at Sweetwater -- a very good stout! -- Brewmeister G
