Beer Review: Humboldt Red Nectar Ale
Medium-to-slightly darker in color, with a medium body, this 'all natural ale' had a taste that did bring visions of 'nectar' to mind. Of course, with the nectar taste also came the vegetative taste.... A hint of sweetness existed at the end of the smooth flavor. Speaking of the flavor, it possessed a tough-to-put-my-finger-on taste throughout -- not a great such taste, nor a bad such taste, simply sort of a 'just there' kind of taste. A very complex and interesting beer. -- Brewmeister G
