Beer Review: Maudite
A truly complicated 8% ale that tastes like the devil himself had perhaps either kissed you, or kicked you. Subtle spices and nut flavors abound in this rich beer (another excellent choice by our friend at the Brickskellar). I was first drawn to the dark artwork (devils and flying canoes) on the amber bottle that gave me the impression that lumberjacks had perhaps hallucinated in the forest. Indeed, I felt devilish after drinking this strong ale and I would recommend it. -- Dopplebock
