Beer Review: Pacifico Clara

Mainly brewed by Cervecería del Pacífico (Grupo Modelo bought the plant in 1954), this quality quaff is actually a pilsener type beer (versus the predominantly lager type brews that come out of Mexico). A medium-to-light body held a little bit of an aftertaste - nothing very strong, though - just an impression of a 'bite' (not a real 'bite'). This didn't detract from the tasting experience, however, as this beer went well with the chips and salsa by my side. Overall, this Mexican offering was a middle-of-the-road beer: not very strong, not very light, just a pretty solid brew.
