Beer Review: Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Barleywine Style Ale
Medium in color, with a reddish tint to it, this beer had a hoppy aroma reminiscent of other Sierra Nevada brews. The hoppiness extended into the taste, being similar to their Pale Ale. Not very fruity (if at all), there was a slight 'sharpness' to the taste. Despite this, overall it was pretty smooth, and it had a strong, full flavor. A good, strong (9.6%) beer. -- Brewmeister G
