Beer Review: Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale
This offering from Sierra Nevada, available in the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday timeframe, is a rather strong brew (6.8%)! A medium color and medium body contain a beer that is both hoppy and spicy. A hoppy aroma greets the consumer upon lifting one's glass or bottle. The beer itself, however, seemed not to taste as hoppy as one would expect, given such an aroma. The hoppiness that is present combines very nicely with the spice notes to produce yet another fine product from Sierra Nevada. A very good beer!!!
